To Market, to market...
Friday is our first day at the Tualatin Farmer's Market. If you see a crazy looking blonde lady in a volkswagen jetta, talking to herself animatedly while driving all over Tualatin, that would be me, Mia.
We have a to do list like no other, not to mention plantings that need to happen this week, and some major harvesting. Our garlic is drying in the sunshine, there are four flavors of simple syrup ready for market (Thai Spice, Lavender Vanilla, Raspberry Mojito, and straight up Mojito). Can't wait to make some snowcones with the Thai Spice version, it's so delicious with just a slight kick from the serrano peppers.
Check out the blog for more photos, updates, and soon (thanks to Forest) some profiles on each veggie we're growing on the farm.
