NachosNY.com is a food and culture website based in New York City. Since January 2009, NachosNY has been providing the community with honest reviews and helpful recipes. To some, nachos are just an appetizer. To us, they are an artform that we critique down to the finest detail of preparation, ingredients and presentation. Hosting parties, 'cho crawls and sit downs with bands, the NachosNY crew has tapped into an ever growing community of foodies, tasters, 'cho-fans and novices, creating a fun and vibrant space for endless discussion about a topic everyone can swallow. We've even been recognized for our work and events by Thrillist, Flavorwire, Metromix (2), NBC New York, and Heeb Magazine.
Unfortunately, our editor, Lee Frank, recently had his laptop and camera stolen. In order to keep the community growing, Lee must replace these items ASAP. But being that NachosNY.com isn't the kind of site that takes the money and runs, we will be offering rewards for donation. And once our goal is reached, we will host a party at our all-time favorite nacho spot in NYC, El Maguey Y La Tuna.
Just like our favorite food, the beauty is in the simplicity: Lee gets a laptop, the community gets a party, and you get the swag and opportunities listed here for your participation. Everyone wins. Check back at this space for updates and developments, and don't forget to see NachosNY.com, the site that's worth all this trouble. Thanks!
