For one day, the North Campus of Penn State is open to display and showcase works from all creative disciplines. Paintings, sculptures, and other works are everywhere. People walk through the buildings, checking out everything the students have to offer. Some rooms host tutorials, where people can learn the basics of a craft, such as screen printing. Bands and performers are in every nook and cranny. There are even people playing guitars, ukuleles, and mandolins outside, guiding people from one location to the next.
SOMA (Students Organizing the Multiple Arts) is responsible for the musicians and acts that come to the event. We work hard to make the event an extraordinary experience for everyone who comes. Our goal is to make Penn State a place that celebrates creativity and art, but it isn't easy.
We welcome you to be part of our cause! And of course, we'll do something for you in return. Please check out the rewards section to the right! The money will go towards organizing the day-long event and reimbursing the performers who are involved. We have been doing our best to find funding, but we need $800 to push us over, and make this event one that is worthy of its predecessors.
We will keep all supporters updated on Kickstarter and through our Tumblr! Those who pledged $5 or more will get exclusive insight into how we are progressing.
If you would like to know more about us, and what we do, check us out!
