The goal of this project is to make a small print run of my first collection of comics, from my comic series, "Guinea Something Good," found at http://www.JoeGP.com . The book will be about 88-100 pages, and include as many comic strips as will fit. The first 37 strips I created are formatted in such a way that has allowed me to use the bottom of the pages to create a strip based "Choose Your Own Adventure" that I will also be including. ::EDIT: I will actually now be using the REST of the pages instead of the first 37 to make the Choose Your Own Adventure, bringing it up to at least 50 pages!:: ::ANOTHER EDIT:: I'm bringing up the page count! This comic book will now be 130 pages long. It will feature a new introduction page comic with Joe and George. There will be around 80 pages that contain the Choose Your Own Adventure strips, and three full page alternate endings. I will also be including an 8-page silent comic based on silent cartoons of the 20's, which you can read here: http://www.ftgpigs.com/chapters/25382/intermission-featuring-silent-guinea-pigs/. ALSO. Every person that donates $5 or more will receive a 3.25" weatherproof sticker of Joe!:: My main goal is to have a decent amount of printed books that I can take to comic conventions. This takes capital, which I don't have!
As thanks for your contribution, you can see the rewards to the right. If we raise more than the goal, I will start adding new material. For $750, I will add a new 3 page story. For $1,000, a new 5 page story. $1,500, a new 7 page story, and $2,000 a new 10 page story. I will also be able to print more books!
This is my first attempt at printing a real, trade paperback sized comic book for distribution. I've been drawing comics for over fifteen years (yeah, since I was a kid), and this is the first series I've done that has allowed me this opportunity. Thanks for your help!
If you're ordering internationally, please include an extra $10 to your pledge to cover shipping costs. Thanks!
