In less than a day it'll be official, Creepo will be Kickstarted into production thanks to each and every one of you. I'm a fan of keeping busy and right now I'm finishing up the remainder of $6 mystery paintings from November 4th. I did 99 of these little fellas and it was quite an adventure. I'm strongly considering picking 25 of my favorite mystery paintings and redoing them as 18x24 oil paintings in hope that some local gallery somewhere will say "Oh, that's neat! Here, have a show." I've only had one show before and that was ten years ago.
I plan on keeping you all in the loop with the comic book process in video form. I hope they will be entertaining and fun to watch.
The attached picture was one of my mystery paintings which I completed a few hours ago. The term "The Elders" stuck in my head as I was doing it but in the end it kinda turned out like an Alan Moore clone festival. I'm going to stick them in Creepo somewhere. I had a couple of ideas of funny gags when I was pouring a glass of Coke.
Thank you again to you all. I hope you have a wonderful day/night.
Another wonderful wonderful day for Creepo. With three days left the campaign is $100 and something dollars away from it's goal. Fantastic stuff. Thank you to all the new folks who came on board with the project today and thanks again to everyone else. Today I'll tell you a bit about the Black Wizard.
The Black Wizard is a character from the Quamlo world. He's a nasty piece of work, lives in a lair and does his best to harness the powers of evil from the supernatural world. Often foiled by Clyde's incompetence and Benny's unwillingness to see him achieve his goals, The Black Wizard is a worthy yang to Quamlo's yin.
Today I painted The Black WIzard making a nice batch of soup is his cauldron. Even evil wizards need to eat!
Thank you all again and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Wonderful things happened today for Creepo thanks to you and you and especially you. I'm not fond on counting my chickens before they hatch but it's quite likely this comic book is a go. Very exciting times. Very exciting.
Sometime last month I held a mystery painting day where I sold little 5"x7" acrylic paintings for $6. In the end the grand total came to 95 paintings. I just finished #81 an hour ago. At my current rate of 5 a day, I'll be done by Sunday. It's always nice to reach the end of a project. I may have to hold a retirement ceremony for my detail brush. Very interesting stuff, I know. I really like to pack the blogs full of interesting stuff.
The attached picture is one of my favorites that I did last night/morning/? . I've been painting so much and at such weird hours I'm unsure what day it is. It's great, I love it. I can't wait to tuck in to this project.
Thanks again to all of you. I hope you have a pleasant day. I'll talk to you again tomorrow.
