Final Call for the Manual of the Primes
Hello, fine backers Sig: The City Between!
In my last update, back on January 24th, I wanted to let you know about the kickstarter campaign for the full print run of Sig: Manual of the Primes. The campaign has been going very well, and we have beaten our goal by a decent margin. This means that we are going to be able to fund an offset print run of the new book.
A couple people had asked me the very sensible question of what they would gain by backing the new kickstarter campaign, seeing as all of you have received the updated PDF version of this new game. I wanted to answer this question for all of you folks, as well as remind folks of the campaign in the final days.
The most important reason is that kickstarter campaign will give you a chance to get the physical book; a full-colour, hardcover print run of the new book. This new book will be beautiful and functional, making it easy to run the game. The new content in this version of the book will include the full rules system, a detailed description of the neighbourhoods of Sig, and the prime worlds unlocked in the City Between kickstarter. The new book will be compatible with the previous one, so the rare copies print copies of The City Between are still useful for character creation and reference.
This is also a heck of a bargain. As a backer of the previous Sig kickstarter, you already have the PDF and you can get the book for cheap by backing at the “Freebooter” tier. This means that you can get a 240-page full-colour hardcover book for around $27 USD, while we will be selling it for close to $40 USD (including the PDF) after the kickstarter is complete.
There are also a series of stretch goals for extra content which we might reach with your support. We have already unlocked a full quickstart including a tutorial section and character sheets for Roll20. All backers of this new kickstarter will also be able to print an attractive deck of Sig Planar Reference cards at cost. If we hit 350 backers for the new campaign, we will even upgrade the book even more and add new features such as a ribbon and a printed map in the endpapers.
If any of you this interests you and you have yet to back the new campaign, please head on over! You can find the campaign for Sig over at http://tinyurl.com/SigKS before it closes on February 24th.
Thank you very much for your time!
