"A champion is defined by the adversity he overcomes." - Anderon Silva
Hello there fight fans,
Nick and Troy Allen here. We're the writers and producers of Fight of the Century (aka FOTC). It's our new creator-owned comics project and we're here today to ask for your support.
FOTC is a story about MMA (mixed martial arts) and sports. In a futuristic Brazil, performance-enhancing drugs have gone from behind-the-scenes banned substances to front-and-center game changers. The sports world as we know it has been revolutionized! Nowhere is that more on display than inside Neo-Rio, a mega-city that serves as the home to the Fighters Ultimate Exhibition League (FUEL). Men are becoming monsters in minutes as fighters are putting their lives on the line in the octagon.
Our story follows Rex Punga, a down on his luck farmboy-turned-MMA fighter. After a drug-fueled incident that nearly ends his career, Punga will attempt a comeback where he takes on, not only the behemoths in the ring, but the behemoth that is Big Pharma. But this time, he’s going to do it all the old school way: Naturally.
Evil Pharmaceutical companies! An uphill battle for redemption! The future of Brazilian MMA on the line! This truly will be the FIGHT OF THE CENTURY.
Consider yourself a fan if you love…
Thought-provoking sci-fi like Black Mirror and The Twilight Zone; Action-packed fight dramas like Rocky IV, Daredevil and Bloodsport. Futuristic action like in Akira and Fist of the North Star.
FOTC will be full-color graphic novel. It's a fist-flying, blood-soaked, biopunk sci-fi story geared towards teen and adult audiences. With successful funding, the book will be released quarterly starting in October.
Presented by Drive Radio and Lazer Discs Records, Future Dark Club features the heaviest and most devilish Dark Synth Artists, such as Lazerhawk, Arcade High, Nightcrawler, Dance with the Dead, Ludrium, Alex, Toutant, Speed Machine, Meteor, Miami Beach Force, Tonebox, and Niky Nine! An ideal cyberpunk sound for a hard-hittin' cyberpunk tale.

Funds raised by this campaign will be focused toward the creation of the series and the rewards. The vast majority of the rewards offered in this campaign will not be available for sale after this Kickstarter. Please see below for more details.
Risks and challenges
This is our 1st campaign, but all of the artwork for the first chapter is completed.
Troy and I have been producing comic books for over a decade, so the only foreseeable challenge is getting any chapters finished and all of the reward packages in the hands of backers as soon as possible.
Once the campaign has concluded, it will take a couple of weeks for the funds to go through. We plan on dropping quarterly goodness starting in October. Once the team is finished production, it's off to the printer. It normally takes about 1.5-3 months to receive the shipment of comics from China. Once we get them in our hands we will ship them out promptly. It takes about a week from receiving the comics to shipping all reward packages out.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
