What is a Yeoman? - A yeoman is a person who performs great and loyal service. It is also a play on words with the "yo" from yoga and "man".
Hi, I'm Tom Nardone. 15 years ago I started my yoga practice because I had back pain. Yoga has kept me pain free all these years. It also helps me stay calm, wise, and in touch. I've made great friends, kept fit, and continue a great outlook on life because of yoga. I love everything about it, except for one thing. All of the yoga stuff is too small.
Standard yoga mats are tiny! They are too short for side plank. They are too narrow for child's pose. Affordable mats are also too thin for my old kneecaps. In shavasana, I spill everywhere.
Introducing The Yeoman Gear Yoga Mat - Yeoman Gear Yoga Mats are longer, wider, and thicker. They are better for men, and for anyone else who isn't small. Yeoman mats are 8 inches longer, 6 inches wider, and twice as thick as other mats. The added size is just right. They aren't huge because huge wouldn't fit in a crowded yoga class. They are just right for guys and won't bother our fellow practitioners.
Yeoman Yoga Block - What about yoga blocks? We made a bunch of prototypes and found that 12 inches by 9 inches by 4 1/2 inches is just right. That's more than twice as much foam as a regular block, but that's what we need. It is big enough to sit upon, small enough to grab with one hand and once you use it, you'll never go back.
Yeoman Yoga Strap - Is a skinny strap a fashion thing? They don't make sense. I made a wide strap. You can use it for two things, to carry your mat and for stretching. It is simple and effective.
Our Mat Cleaning Spray Is Strong - When I finally get around to cleaning my yoga mat, I need something really strong. We have something for that. It's the same formula that police officers use to clean their bulletproof vests. It works great, kills bacteria, and won't harm you or your gear. In our office we call it "Funk Removal Spray."
Our Mat and Block Are Thicker - We weight more than other people in yoga class, so we need a thicker mat. Ours is 2X as thick as a standard yoga mat. We need the cushioning to keep our knees and joints safe. Our block is longer, wider, and thicker too, to keep you stable during balancing and seated poses.

Everyone is welcome - Just because we market our product to men, doesn't mean you have to be male to use it. You just have to be frustrated by the small size of regular yoga equipment.
Technical Specs: Our mat is 80"x30"x6mm and PVC. Our block is 12x9x4.5, our spray is 2 oz., our strap is a strap. We apologize but nothing here is organic, I'm not asking everyone in the office but I'm pretty sure we aren't virgin, and although we treat people fairly and offer a great product at a fair price, I don't think we qualify as fair trade.
Risks and challenges
My name is Tom Nardone and for 17 years I have run a company that fulfills products and designs new items. In that time I have filled over 1,000,000 orders and have launched and filled four successful Kickstarter projects. My team and I are a reliable bunch.
Delays can happen, but working with an experienced team like ours is a great indication that we will do everything possible to not let you down. We are poised to deliver these mats before Christmas because they will make a great gift. Just know that if significant delays occur, we might struggle with that delivery time.
