15K stretch goal reached
Thanks to all our backers with the 15k goal already reached all DIY kits, and fully assembled 3D printer will get one free SD card and glue stick. Read more about the glue stick and announcement in the update section here for more.
We love 3D printing, and we love sharing and showing what a 3D printer can do. 3D printing puts the power of production on your desktop, "TeeBot" allows you to take this power everywhere you go and still look cool!!. I needed a 3D printer I could travel and take around everywhere....I then started working on the design of TeeBot 3D printer, making it fold-able and not compromising the print quality.
After lot's of design iteration and multiple prototype, TeeBotMax was released as open-source. Immediately we got huge response from TeeBotMax users around the world, I kept working on the design and finally.... The result is a simple, foldable 3D printer in a suitcase that produce quality 3D prints in the suitcase. I hope you like the design and enjoy building and using one as much as I do!!

TeeBot and its predecessor have one unique design ..."Fold-able", a good quality 3D printer that is easy to move around. Simply loosen 4 nuts, and the printer is ready to fold.

A precise, reliable and good 3D print comes from quality parts and hardware. We have carefully selected our vendors and rigorously tested all key components. TeeBot is built from high quality materials, so you can count on top quality. One of the test includes printing 500 Marvins!!
The Hotend: This is a key component of the 3D printer and we are happy to choose Lite6 from E3D(UK). Lite6 is aimed at the more standard materials, such as ABS and PLA, and it really does produce beautiful looking prints with outstanding reliability. The full length PTFE liner also means you get great performance with flexible materials like NinjaFlex. 3DstuffsNL is a genuine E3D Online re-seller.
The Extruder: Teestruder was designed to handle the E3Dlite6 one of the key features is the double bearing guide which prevents filament slip and the extra fan which channels the air directly to the print point. These enables TeeBot to handle long and wide overhangs without the need of support. See 3D model below.
The Print Bed: MK3, 3mm aluminum core. Print directly on the heatbed, no need for glass plate. It's a much lighter solution than PCB heatbed + glass, which makes it better for faster prints. Maximum temperature rating: 180 degree Celsius Flatness across surface is approximately within +-0.2mm. We have choosen Reprap.me (Denmark) for our Heatbed.
3D printing is fun and we like everyone to get involved, via kickstarter we will be able to bring TeeBot to any one interested.
Our experience preparing and supplying TeeBotMax kits showed that bulk buy and processing will help bring price down and make it affordable for any one who wants a DIY kit or fully assembled 3D printer.
3DSTUFFSNL also helps to spread 3D printing technology simply by showing and we let your imagination do the rest. Through this campaign we hope to give out 500 3D printed Marvins to many who we believe has never seen a 3D printed object.

Emmanuel Adetutu designer, developer of the TeeBot and TeeBotMax open-source 3D printers is a programmer, maker and 3D print enthusiast who enjoys creating functional prototypes and 3D models, also the founder of 3DstuffsNL a start-up that offers 3D related services which includes the design, development and production of 3D printers.
Paul Lammerts a maker and DIY enthusiast, he enjoys building and tinkering with quadcopters. He will be supporting the project with his electronics, firmware and cabling skills and will be doing this together with the team from Lijn64.
Lijn64 is an organisation whose mission is to offer people with special needs a nice and safe environment to participate in the society by focusing on their skills and talent. Inline with their current activities working on this project will give many of their participants the opportunity to learn to assemble and work with 3D printers.
Together we will work to deliver you TeeBot as a kit or fully assembled. All fully assembled 3D printer and DIY parts will be tested.

3DstuffsNL is obliged to charge 21% VAT to all in Europe because we are based in the European Union (EU). After the campaign ends you will be required to pay the shipping fee and VAT if applicable before shipping. At the moment here is an overview of the shipping cost with international tracking, please note we are still working on cheaper alternatives, any changes to these can only be cheaper and more reliable.

With all our suppliers we have communicated a lot, They are ready to ship the parts we need. Delivery and shipping time has been estimated, we have received and tested many samples.
