@Kimmo Kulovesi: I also stayed at 1 euro. Have been watching and waiting for proof of life. So far all I have seen is multiple visits from the billing office and a selfie of a new floor monitor.

@Denis - It is looking more and more like SD plans to ship the masters over to the production facilities and have them figure it out.

      Right there with everyone else.

Getting ready to start production in six weeks suggests you have tons of 3d models ready to go. So... show them instead of only updating us on pledge manager status.

@Kimmo - Please read my whole comment as if David Spade was saying it.

I agree, photographing painted metal master miniatures from 15 years ago is no guarantee of any quality of the new models...

Kalibaouche makes a good point about the postage too.

    6. Kimmo Kulovesi

The (un)fairness is irrelevant, the fact remains that there remains a number of backers with the minimum pledges who have not pledged more, and by convincing those people (myself included) SD could have more money coming from the pledge manager, and my point is that before the pledge manager closes is the their last chance to do so.

Of course I don't know how many such people remain, maybe I'm almost alone in this and there's no point in spending any effort to try to get that small amount of money (seems unlikely, though, given the general comments thread). Or maybe they are planning on selling the minis at a loss and don't actually want more people to buy them (seems unlikely, though, as they posted this update).

(BTW I honestly can't tell if @HaleysRedComet was being sarcastic about the unfairness or not, so apologies if they were and this comment is redundant.)

@Kimmo - That's really unfair. SD has done their hardest work by photographing a few of the master miniatures they have to show you that they exist. Sure, we don't know and haven't actually seen a few of them which still only have art on the campaign page (Sasia), and sure we haven't seen a miniature they have prototyped to see what changes SD or the factory managers plan to make to the original miniatures. That's irrelevant. Sans-Detour has demonstrated, on a separate funding platform, that they can make books. So surely they can enter a new market, pay to license the rights to Confrontation from their own financial director, and produce miniatures that are still considered some of the finest crafted in the market 10 years after they were made. No problem.

      Too funny

    9. Kimmo Kulovesi

@creator: Like many others, I only have the minimum pledge currently due to not being convinced that the project can actually deliver the promised rewards at the price. It would therefore be in your best financial interests to use these six weeks to convince us of this, in order to get us to pledge more. So far the updates have been sparse and with little concrete news about the actual miniatures production.

Et les frais de port pour les petits add-ons ne bougent pas?

... and still no photos of even one of the new miniatures that have been cast?

The pledge stays at £1 until then :(
