UPDATE: Stretch Goal!
I am going to be optimistic and assume we will fund ($100 to go in 3 more days). But if we make $4500 I will give a free pdf to all backers of a pamphlet created by Stefan Jones offering suggestions on many ways to use these dice. Also if we make $4500, I will add an eleventh die to the mold: our "hit location" die. If we do make 11 dice, if you add $1 to your pledge you will get all 11 dice. If you don't add $1, I will ask on the survey which die you want to give up.
Also: here's what you get for your $10:
Two Pizza Dice (one veggie, one meat)
Six Adventure Dice
- Trap Die
- Corridor Die
- Treasure Die
- Door Die
- Weather Die
- Monster Reaction Die
One Nuclear Cloud Die
One "Fast Food" Die
And if we make the stretch goal:
One "hit location" die and one pdf of ways to use the dice.
For twenty years I've been selling Pizza Dice and Adventure Dice that have the words and pictures silkscreened (painted) on the six faces. A few years ago the guy who made them for me retired from the business, and I can no longer get them for a reasonable price. But I can get a MOLD made that will create these dice with the words and pictures ENGRAVED on the six faces. It turns out to get the mold made, and the first 10,000 dice made, and pay kickstarter's fees, I will need approximately $4000. I will be selling these dice for $1 each ($2 for a set of pizza dice). As a backer, you will get a complete set of all ten dice, plus the tenth one (see below) will be special for backers. And you will have helped me make my pizza dice (tm) and adventure dice (tm) better than they have ever been!
Pizza Dice are two 6-sided dice to help you decide which flavor of pizza to order. You can decide in advance you will accept whatever the dice say, or just use them as a starting point for the discussion.
The green die is the veggie die, the six sides are green peppers, pineapple, olives, onions, mushrooms, and extra ingredient. The red die is the meat die, the six sides are ham, sausage, hamburger, bacon, pepperoni, and extra cheese.

The adventure dice are for randomly creating an rpg adventure. We have Door Dice (is the door locked, trapped, magicly locked, or just open?); Treasure Dice (silver, gold, gem, weapon, magic weapon, scroll); Weather Dice (sunny, windy, rainy, stormy, cloudy, snow), Trap Dice (6 different generic types of trap); and Corridor Dice (door, stairs, various directions).

Here is the new artwork for the "Trap Die".

This mold will have ten cavities. So far I have described seven. I'm thinking that the eighth will be our "Nuclear Dice", where the "one" is a nuclear cloud. I put a die like this inside every copy of Nuclear Escalation and Nuclear Proliferation.

Here is another picture of the Nuclear Die - although both of these pictures are of transparent dice, please understand that the new dice will be opaque, and the cloud and the numbers will be inked.
The ninth spot will be our monster reaction die. The reactions are scared, friendly, neutral, suspicious, hostile, berserk attack.

Now for the new one: A "what flavor of fast food" die. My artist has drawn a picture of a hamburger, a taco, a chicken drumstick, a slice of pizza, a fish, and something Chinese. Here's the kicker (pun intended): the first 1000 sets of these dice, the "fast food die" will be "inked" in glow in the dark ink. After I make enough of these for the backers, I will probably never make them with glow in the dark ink again. If I ever do, I'll charge at least $2 for them.
Also, I plan to make a special package for the first print run of pizza dice and fast food dice. I'll package these three dice in a zip lock baggie with a special backing card that is only for kickstarter backers. So, in addition to the special "glow" ink, you'll get a unique package.

You may notice that I am not charging postage for USA backers, but I am charging $15 for backers outside the USA. I am willing to mail the dice anywhere in the world, but postage is expensive. Feel free to pay for extra dice to share with your friends. The postage fee remains just $15 for however many dice. For European backers, I plan to fulfill through my UK distributor, And you'll get your reward mailed to you from within the EU.
We here at Flying Buffalo believe in supporting the retailers. We have a retailer tier open only to qualified retail stores in the United States.

Stretch Goal: Stefan Jones is writing up a little pamphlet on ways to use these dice. If we hit $4500, I'll give a pdf of this to every backer. Then I'll be selling this pdf on drivethru for 99 cents. A $1 bonus for every backer.
Risks and challenges
I have been in the game-creating business for 47 years, so I think I can handle this. I have, however, a habit of being over-optimistic in estimating how quickly this can get done. My dice maker says 90-120 days after I pay him and get the art approved. So I'm estimating 6 months. It may take longer. Also this is being done overseas, so there may be may be customs delays, shipping delays, etc. But I will get it done eventually.
