@Richard Loomis...Oh cool, yeah I must have misunderstood.
Dean: Sorry I was not clear. The link will be to Drive Thru RPG. There are two ways to set up a free download of a product on Drive Thru. One is to type in an individual's email address. The other is to create a link and then tell everyone the link. I plan to do the latter.
@Steven Crompton , oh I do not doubt that...I just prefer the convenience of Drive Thru RPG for downloads and storage. Private download links tend to be a mess trying to keep located and permanent. And why reinvent the wheel when you have a ready made 3rd party that can do the same thing. Probably with a simple upload.
Not to worry Dean - we've done a lot of Kickstarters and have a system in place that works pretty well. In fact, odds are the PDFs will be made available sooner than the printed versions of the MSPE rules and books.
**That is Owner of "0-HR" Ryan Wolfe
I am sure there is an import fuction at Drive Thru....or maybe if there is not suggest it since this is the new era of business. Look up the Cowner of )-HR maker of Starship maps... Ryan Wolfe....He uses Drivethru RPG to deliver his products to 600+ people.
I am not going to spend two weeks typing in 600 emails into drive thru. I will create a link where you can go to get the free download, and tell you all the link. ;)
@Jetstream - when the time comes for the downloads - we will send an update to everyone who gets the download a link and details on how to get the downloads.
Hey, don't y'all need our Drivethrurpg Emails? The Survey doesn't ask for them.
Tunnels and Turbocopters!
It was great talking to Mike about all this and I was really glad to hear that he wanted to update MSPE. Should really be a great way to end the new rulebook.
I would say this leaves me breathless - but I'm breathless & can't say anything.
