Have a question?
@Gustavo Vazquez have you already got your books? I have not here in Belo Horizonte.
Any update, when the signed bookplates will be avaible.
One error with the Abyss mini-solo - the first sentence of section 3A (page 293) "If you want to fight a duel..." should actually be the *last* sentence of 2F. The rest of section 3A is OK, but that first sentence had me thinking that 5C had sent me to the wrong number...
(the original Abyss had 3 errors listed in an errata on the inside cover so one mistake probably isn't too bad).
@Roger, I live in BC and got my pledge quite a while ago. I would follow up.
Ok since the last update was in February I have reached out to Rick Loomis via kickstarter and have asked for any response to the shipping schedule for Canada as I have yet to receive my pledge. Any Canadian backers get their shipment yet? just curious
OK, from my KS msgs, I did get the link to Buffalo Castle, but not
GM Screen, Deathtrap Equalizer, City of Terror, Dungeon of the Bear.
Thx. for any info.
RE: last comment. Oh, also did not get a link for pdf of Dungeon of the Bear.
asking here first before bothering the creators by msg in case I missed something obvious. I was a softcover 28$ pledger. Got the deluxe rules pdf link for rpgnow and dled it.
Did not receive links for ANY of the pdfs I am supposedly due:
City of Terror
??? Anything else? I think that was it.
Please advise if these did not go out to people or if we are required to get them from someplace else other than a link sent to us. Thanks!
Now April 4th 2016 and still no word on shipment to Canada. I did get a confirmation email back in October though...
Any feedback is greatly appreciated
I´m still waiting for the books here in Brazil. As Canada hasn´t received, I guess the ones to South America haven´t been shipped yet... has anyone around here received anything?
Thanks to the Fellowship for delivery to UK. I had it sent to a friend's house as I knew I was going to move between the end of KS and fulfilment and it's taken a small while for him to pop round with it.
Absolutely love the limited edition hardcover, I'm blown away by it in fact, but less impressed with the wooden game box. One of my friends described it as "plywood-firewood" :-), which is somewhat disingenuous, but I have to agree that it's not great.
Other than the box niggle, I'm very pleased with the net result of this KS.
Howdy. Still waiting here in Canada. Any word on shipping dates to the North? :)
Awesome! I got everything in Cape Town South Africa. Unfortunately the cool box did not survive the trip to deepest darkest Africa, but I believe with some patience and glue I can sort it out :)
Awesome Thanks Guys!
And my second oldest outstanding RPG KS is delivered! Yay!
Hooray, it arrived, and I have a long weekend now too so it was perfect timing. I got the softcover and it's absolutely beautiful. Hefty thing too. Good job everyone. Very nice indeed.
We had some trouble sometimes with characters not in English. I apologize for that.
Received in Denmark today. .
The books are of the usual high quality (omg the limited hardcover is awesome).
However the wooden box hasnt got my name right! it says SÃ,ren Hagge and not Søren Hagge. It is not really worth the 45$ The ingraveing is nice enough but the box itself is imo of too poor quality compared to rest. But I guess it can if nothing else be used as a shelf ornament conversation piece
The limited edition plates are to be mailed separately, shortly. I didn't want to burden the distributor with trying to get the right number to the right backer.
Just so you all know, the Fellowship is reading and thrilled that so many of you are happy with the final book. In many ways it was the most difficult task that any of us have been involved in for a variety of reasons and knowing that you all seem to love what we have done, literally makes it all worthwhile for us! I know I am deeply honored to have been a part of this project, and I thank each and every one of you for your patience and understanding during the long trek to Mt Doom and back again. May your journeys to Trollworld be filled with adventure and wonder!
- The Fellowship of the Troll
Today arrived my lim. edition here in Germany. The book is in exellent shape, but it didn't have the signed plate with the number and your names in it. This was one factor for me to choose this pledge level.
Or.. Maybe you send the plates in another shipment?
I am told that all the UK shipments have been sent, and the rest of Europe will go out on Friday. So.... soon.
hmmm... nothing here yet. I'm beginning to feel left out. Maybe it's because I'm the only one in Ireland(as far as I know!)
didnt get a box
UK shipment arrived, very pleased as I cross the KS off my to be sent list [the oldest on the list in fact]. It was a long road but one worth travelling
Just need to find my double adventure Corgi books now
Another UK delivery today which was a very pleasant surprise as I had received no shipping information letting me know it had been despatched.
What can I say? The physical book is a weighty tome, even in paperback, and dwarfs my old UK orange cover 5th edition. It is a thing of beauty and this old gamer suddenly feels 35 years younger!
Need to finish Act I of the campaign I have been writing since I signed-up for the KS campaign. Now just need to iron out the details of the planned cross-over I am planning for the players into my Shadow of Brimstone board game campaign when the breakdown that door underneath the lighthouse...
I would like to express a HUGE thank you to the entire Fellowship for bringing this gamer so much joy again.
My package arrived today. Wow! Where to start? The book looks fantastic, it's a real tome, and unlike some publishers it's printed big enough that I don't have to remove my glasses and squint so my old eyes can read it. The adventures look great and the GM screen is excellent. The addition of the box to hold it all together is a great touch. One happy customer!
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that my big box of T&T goodies arrived here today in the UK. everything's lovely and I'm looking forwards to the many hours of fun & nostalgia it shall no doubt provide.
I enjoyed Fang's little cameo as well. I might see if I can squeeze Fang and Feir into my first session with the new rules :). The 5th edition box to protect the book was a nice touch. I found myself wondering if someone had packed the wrong items then picked it up and noticed the weight, and the fact that it felt as if there was only a single item within instead of many slimmer volumes shifting under my hand. Was it 5th? I don't remember the 5th edition box containing dice or pregenerated characters so maybe it was a 6th edition box or a retro clone or something. Well whateveer it was it's a nice touch as my original 5th edition box came apart at the sides years ago and has been loving "flat packed" (i.e. squashed between layers of something else in one of the countless stacks of gaming material that infest my dwarven halls) for many a long year now.
Another delighted UK customer. No. Really this time.
I love the fact that all my favourite 4th edition artwork is in there, including Fang turning up in the character creation section (albeit un-named) and the ever iconic dungeon entrance on the first printed page (I also chose that for my box). I think the fact that you can identify the spell book from the grey edging even when the tome is shut is also a really nice touch.
I was slightly perplexed by the box that contained just the book, but I'm sure it'll come in handy for storing all my other T&T editions. The box is going to need some re-gluing and a coat of varnish, but I love it.
Many thanks and congratulations on finally delivering this monster. For me, at least, it was well worth the wait.
UK delivery received today! (via DHL and 3 days early according to their tracking estimate).
Came through in great shape and the hardback rulebook, maps and posters look marvelous. The death dice were larger & better than expected (I was anticipating cheap-n-cheerful) while the pencils & card pack made a nice bonus.
Only disappointment was the wooden box - thin plywood and so fragile that the engraving on the front has started to crumble in one corner.
One question about the thumb drive - it includes a "BuffTale" folder which, on closer examination, appears to be a scenario created using the Bard's Tale Construction Set. Any story or history about this?
Ray: All except apparently yours! I'll mail it today. USA Backers: if you haven't gotten something, email me - it should have gone out by now. Astral and Simon: all the Europe backer items are in the hands of our distributor in the UK and it is up to them now! David L: so sorry about that. Additional items being shipped.
So...have the thumb drives been mailed in the US?
They should have all the material in the UK and are putting it all together. I think the last thing we sent them was some additional posters as we ran out of those and had to print, more.
I'd also like an update - it's been nearly a month and a half since items were shipped to the UK.
Any news when UK distribution will start?
Hope you all are enjoying the goodies you have received. At this point everything has been mailed (though many of you in Europe will not have gotten anything yet as we shipped the bulk of the stuff to a mailing company there that will ship your items from the UK. The idea is that we hope it will reduce you (and our) customs fees etc.
There are still a couple of people whose current addresses we don't seem to have. If you are in the US and haven;t received anything, be sure to contact firstname.lastname@example.org and he will check to see if we have your old address. Thanks again to all of you for your patience and your support! We hope it was all worth the wait!
My Patrom Emeritus shipment has arrived (in two boxes) here in Melbourne, Australia!
Unfortunately, the paperback version of the book got slightly chewed up on one small corner of the cover while traveling inside that wooden box. Fortunately it seems to be the only thing damaged.
I also seem to be missing a few things. Rick, I've emailed you with the details.
UK invoice pro forma email received!
Patron emiritus box received today down in New Zealand. A welcome Christmas eve present!
My special edition & all its bits & bobs arrived safe & sound in the Great White North yesterday. Beautiful :-)
I received a tracking number for my Patron Emeritus pledge today!
Another UK backer asking for a status update - it's been nearly a month since the "Euro shipping" update.
Any news on UK orders?
Still waiting in my patron emeritus book as well. I did get an email with the contents of what would be in the box, but no box yet. I understand Richard prefers messages but I just wanted to post a comment to let others who might be in a similar situation know they aren't the only ones.
I have not received my deluxe T&T extra special book. I have now sent two messages to Richard directly and have yet to receive word. Richard, if you read this, please check your messages. I bid over $800 and would like my $250 book.
Is there an ETA on the UK shipping please? Should I have received an email yet?
Everything arrived today, and the books were well worth the wait. Many thanks to all of the Fellowship of the Troll for all their hard work and persistence through a long and at times difficult process (particularly for Liz, between the pneumonia and the burn).
Now to get a T&T group together... well, not now. It's midnight here on the West Coast, and I need sleep.
Waiting on my Softback to arrive in the UK [will need to recheck my ks mail feed for a shipping comment]
My friends: if you didn't get something, please send me a message, not a comment. It is very difficult for me to compare comments to the data base. If you send me a message, I can check it much easier.
On August 18th you responded to my inquiry about my missing Flash drive. I haven't received it yet either?
