I love my Mom!
I would be remiss not to say "I love my Mom!". My mother, bless her heart, has been a huge, incalculable help in the creation of this trilogy writing project. After the first publication of book 1, called "Dancing with Rejection: A Beginner's Guide to Immortality" , I sent a copy to her and she went through the entire book, page by page and with her eagle eye(s) she scouted out several small typos that had escaped my wife Sharon's and my notice, after our best efforts to make it "perfect".
Surprisingly, my mom found more typos than I care to admit! Now though, at considerable expense, I have taken Book 1 back to my publisher and insisted that Mom's corrections be implemented, no matter what. Previous to this, my publishing adviser said to me, "Don't be so hard on yourself. Even Ernest Hemingway had a few typos in his manuscripts!"
Well, that may have been some small comfort, however I reasoned...'I don't really care If Ernest Hemingway...and I guess many others...suffered the indignity of typos in their published works. I would like to strive for more. With the help of my (extremely high IQ) mom, I can do better...I believe!'.
Make no mistake about it, I could not, EVAH, have published such a pristine manuscript without my mother's help. You will be very challenged to find and typos in Book 1. Oh yeah, I also wanted to give a shout out to my buddy Steve Brown, who pointed out that "Sunnybrook" is spelled without an "e", and also the correct two NHL teams that battled it out for the Stanley Cup in Montreal way back when. You had to be there!
I believe you will have a much richer reading experience of the trilogy by diving into Book 1 prior to Book 2. A no-brainer, am I right? Therefore, I am happy to offer you a FREE SAMPLE of the first 90 pages of Book 1. Click here for that. Also click here to purchase Book 1 in the format of your preference.
