Stars of Silicon Valley is one aspect of our start-up production company showing an intelligent, saitrical view of the human condition. A 30 minute variety show highlighting eight segments on the news, the civil war, world views of human sexuality, un-pc outlook on religion and science, reality, poetry and pistols, and behind the scenes look at a start-up production company. All with sex, love, drama, controversy, murder, suicide, comedy, and more LOVE!
Funds raised will go towards paying our actors, crew members, staff members, and everyone else involved in our production. Chas production company is dedicated to prospering while giving back to the community, and having a fully operational film, televison, and theater company with the adage no more starving artists right here in the San Francisco Bay Area pennisula. Funds will also go towards equipment such as cameras, lighting, editing, location, and craft services. It will also help continue our work educating people of all ages and levels at our performing arts conservatory successful now for over 18 years.
We have already developed a dedicated cast and crew of approximately 15 members. Who have already produced our pilot. Ensuing funds will go towards our first episode so when sold we will have continuing episodes in can.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Our risks and challenges are minimal as we have already completed our television pilot (on virtually a zero budget) which is currently being marketed. We have been able to secure a wonderful and talented cast that are excited about creating a season of episodes. We are able to utilize our actor’s conservatory for some shoots and green screen production. Our main challenge is securing funds for stipends, updated and needed equipment, production costs, crew members, professional editors, DP’s, etc. so our producer no longer needs to perform all these tasks virtually alone. This will allow for creating our episodes within the normal big studio time limit of 2-4 weeks instead of the 6-months it took to produce our pilot. Distributors also want to know how many episodes you have in the can-or, already shot-so they feel confident they have something to air when they purchase your production. If you like what we have already produced, think of what we can do with an actual budget! Please remember your funds are not just going to produce someone’s whim but to create a vital production company offering jobs to many in the industry, and helping the San Francisco Bay Area’s economy. Thank you so much for your time, energy and contributions!!
