Happy Sunday, brave fighters!
Here we are again with our weekly update!
Yesterday we had a demo session on Tabletop Simulator, and we're so happy to see that you are enjoying this game as much as we loved to create it!
Seeing your happiness is our greatest satisfaction, thank you so much! If you're interested in playing on Tabletop Simulator (if we're not wrong it's on Steam sales these days), shoot us a pm or write us in the comment and we'll settle a new session! Even though our time zones are so different, we'll always have time for you!
First Player Mechanic
If you hang out in the comment session, you probably read that we were going to make an announcement on the first player mechanic. Well, now the time is ripe, and we can speak with clarity!
The first player won't change anymore across the game!
Changing the first player each round may look good for balance, but it slowed down the pace a lot. We worked hard in this months to playtest a new, streamlined turn sequence: now turns will flow one after another wihtout any change of first player!
The first player token will be in the box anyway. It is given to the one who starts the game, and it stays with that person the whole game. This means that when all the petals have fallen, every player will each play the same amount of turns!
Details will be in the new rulebook (currently under proofreading).
Enrica is currently revising a couple of drawings, and today we'd like to show two new treasures!
Give a warm welcome to the Perfect Grappling Hook and the Izumo Shuriken! In the previous version of the Izumo Shuriken, Amaya was there, but since there was so little love for Nene so far, Enrica decided to draw her instead! The real motivation behind her choice is Nene's pink hair, but don't say it too loud!
Meanwhile, in Yamashiro...
You already know that the nemesis who came to Yamashiro aren't as friendly as you may expect, but what you probably don't know is that one of them is deeply bonded to Gurin...
These two aren't the only ones involved in this sad story, can you imagine who might be connected to them?
Do you want to know more about a specific character next time? Tell us in the comment, we will do our best to tell you more!
That's all for this week, be ready, as next weeks we'll show you the prototype of the game! It will be the closest version of the final product, so we hope you'll like it!
Love and cha-no-yu,
Enrica & Francesco
