As first time creators, with a very small team, all we had was our genuine love for the anime world and a deep love for the game...
But our years of hard work on making sure this game is the best experience for it's players combined with you, the awesome players who helped us push this to it's greatest heights...

Once the game launched people immediately saw and understood that it was worth it to back. We funded in only 28 hours which was a shock to us all! We know that Daimyo's Fall is a result of years of working towards a quality game... but we hadn't known how well you would see that!
This is a labor of love, and we are glad you noticed!
It's amazing to see how there is already a community around Daimyo's Fall universe, and this is just the start: Daimyo's Fall will stay with us for years and years, with more big and small expansions and even more games (someone said "dungeon crawler in the Daimyo's palace"? We heard you).
Daimyo's Fall origin
Daimyo's Fall was born on a summer night while we were watching a terrible, old Italian trash 80s sci-fi movie, and then we had an epiphany: It's time to make a game!
What game? A game set in the world of Returner, Enrica's tale that will be produced next as a light novel in the Sengoku Era (Medieval Japan).
Theme? The final battle against a phallocentric society, women taking the power to create a new world, with all the problems that this would mean.
Characters? Super strong, badass, yet human and fragile heroes like the best anime literature has always shown us.
And so we started. The first character was Setsuko (who already existed), then Aiko, then the others. The last ones were the Blind Twins.
We set out and made a lot of art and designed the gameplay.
We had some hard times, especially in the beginning, when we were just two rookies without a clue. Luckily we knew how to move quickly since the very first minute!
Some artwork had to be changed, some for good reasons, others less, but what matters is that we love the final result.
What will happen now
Now, through the store based pledge manager (as usual with KS campaigns it'll take time now for the survey to be launched), and then we head to production!
We are about to announce a major change on the flow of the game we playtested all these months with you during the campaign. You'll love it, since we streamlined the gameplay in order to make the game more fast-paced and enjoyable from the very beginning, and all without loosing any balance!
We're hired a professional editor and are in the process of finalizing and proofreading the rulebook which will be uploaded soon. We're adding a page that explains in detail the 2 mini expansions and getting rid of the dust everywhere.
While we consider the Solo Mode finalized, we're fixing the multiplayer use of the Nemesis System to make it faster, easier and more fun. This will be addressed in the next update.
Meanwhile, we're sending the files to our manufacturer, so in a few weeks you'll see a new, shining prototype sample.
About our schedule, everything is going without any issue for now, no delays expected, everything is as it should be!
Daimyo's Fall is a game with a lot of potential that will be played for years. We're planning organized play and even more exciting developments for the players, so write us if you want your local game store to host Daimyo's Fall events!

Daimyo's Fall group is now open on Facebook! Let's use it share everything about the game and its universe!
We decided to open it since many players and playtesters are already really into the game and have a lot of questions about rules and lore! We thought you would appreciate the possibility to be connected with each other, especially with the idea that in the future there will be far more stuff to talk about (Daimyo's Fall a nd other games)!

Beyond Daimyo's Fall
We're still not ready to announce the new games we have in mind and what will be the 2018 Kickstarter. We can just tell you that it will be amazing... like nothing you've seen before! We're aiming high with it, 2018 will be Axis Mundi year!
