So this project is now coming to a close. There are still a few little things I have left to send out to people but for the majority of you this is it. I wanted to thank each and everyone of you for participating in this - being patient with the troubles - and still being awesome enough to donate. If there is anything wrong with what you receive, please let me know and I'll do my best to correct it.
Reflecting back on things, this project didn't do too bad. We lost some exposure because there was something wrong with the way the tags were showing up in the search fields for Kickstarter. Despite all that, we didn't do too bad.
The book turned out larger by approximately 30,000 words more than I had originally anticipated, which was 40% more content - I blame it all on the equipment charts and all the cool organizations.
We lost the original editor but managed to acquire a new one. For the majority of backers we got the rewards out by December, but there was still the hardcover books that we missed on that deadline. Which I feel terrible about. I think the best way, moving forward, is for me to ensure that the book is complete by the time that the Kickstarter even begins and then build up from there by stretch goals. At least then, if funded, all we'd have to do is the art, formatting and edits before sending it to the printer.
I hope you enjoy what you all worked hard to creating. It may seem like you just gave money, but seriously, without your generosity and faith in me, none of this would have been possible. So I thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Happy Gaming Everyone,
Don't hesitate to drop me a line.
