March update - Cover art revealed!
Finally, Demetrios has cover art!
I wanted something pretty that would convey the tone of the game. What do you think?
So, the release of the game is getting closer. I'm planning to release Demetrios at the end of May! I'll give a precise release date soon :)
I'll be preparing a preview version for journalists soon, which is why I've spent some time improving the art in the first areas of the game - which, to be honest, looked quite bad compared to some of the last rooms.
For example, the bathroom was ugly, with some skewed perspective. It's fixed now!
As well as the other apartment rooms, such as the bedroom :
The changes may not be obvious in a tiny screenshot, but when playing the game it's light and day!

And let's not forget the new game logo!
To summarize, here's what's been done since the last update :
- Cover art
- One missing mini-game
- All comic cutscenes
- English proofreading half done (thanks to Lake Kubilius)
- Some administrative stuff
- Steam code integration (achievements and cloud saving option are OK)
- Art correction
- French translation
What's left to do :
- Sound editing
- Some soundtrack
- Some characters expressions
- Add animations in the screens
- More art correction
- Testing and debugging
- Finishing the other translations
- Steam store integration (store page, trading cards)
Demetrios has been selected for Indie Games Play #6 in France, and will be showcased on March 25 & 26th in Lyon! If you come, you'll be able to play the new version of the game :)
Next time I'll probably ask who's interested in beta-testing the game for bugs. I'll let you know!
