Following on from my successful minimalist map print project, this new project introduces a new range of modern map prints in a range of 8 different colours with added location co ordinates. The maps are available for any location in the world (even less populated locations - please scroll down for an example) and are printed on heavyweight matte paper with archival inks at high resolution producing sharp detail and beautiful colour rendition.
After the project ends all backers will be sent a survey requesting information regarding the colour and location you would like for your map print. Please see below for further information on the available colours and sizes.
UPDATE! Thanks to everyone so far I have reached my funding goal in the first 24 hours! :) I will be periodically adding additional colours that you can see in my updates and a final colour chart will be added there also when the campaign ends. Thanks again for your all your support!
Here are few example map prints illustrating the various colour options.
Great in pairs or even fours!
Castelo Branco ( this map illustrates a less populated location, Castelo Branco is a small town in Portugal surrounded by mountains and farmland)
And this is what the map prints look like at print view (screenshot from one of the A2 maps, please bear in mind this is screenshot at 72dpi)
So why am I launching a new map print project on Kickstarter?
For my first project I was raising money to purchase a wide format printer so I could print in house and be in control of the quality and the speed that I can despatch prints. I have recently opened a shop on Etsy that has started to generate sales already and I will soon be selling my prints at pop up markets in London. For this project I'm hoping to raise additional funds for framing supplies so I can exhibit prints in shops and bars in and around London and also offer a framing service for customers based in the UK. Hopefully if you decide to back my project I can begin framing and displaying my map prints in selected shops and bars throughout London. If you have any questions regarding my project I'd be happy to answer them, just send a message via Kickstarter or leave a comment.
Prints will be shipped using Royal Mail tracked delivery for both uk and international orders. A tracking number will be sent once your print has been shipped.
Risks and challenges
I don't forsee any risks or challenges as I have already fulfilled a previous Kickstarter project within the estimated timescales.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
