Our first update
As we near the end of the first day of our Kickstarter, we are warmed by the positive support from all of you and your comments. Making a sequel to Alteil with all the polish of a AAA title is something that we have dreamed of for years. We put a lot of effort into getting where we are so far, and we are excited to share our dream with you.
In terms of first day numbers, we are looking great. The more momentum we can gather early on, the better we can make the game as it increases our chance of getting more stretch goals later on - so every friend you can tell about this kickstater is a huge boon.
Many of you had some pretty good questions. We added some updates to help answer them. The first big update is the a list of cards so you can get a feel of the units and art of the game - http//cards.apocoplay.com/ . We also liked hearing that some of you felt it was addicting to hit the random button and browse the art.
Our main Kickstarter video was also updated earlier today based on your past feedback. You can expect a better version based on your current feedback in a few days.
In terms of press, the coverage we got at launch was stellar. We counted at least nine unique articles in major press sites, including Massively, Top Ton Hammer, and Examiner. Kotaku did a special bit that does a good job showing off the art Katsuya Terada made for us, as well as recapping what he did for the original Legend of Zelda.
You are all amazing, and we can not thank you enough for the support you've shown so far.
