About this project

This board game is a multi-player game designed to facilitate and promote learning of the US Constitution and early American History. Constitutionology is the name of the first board game ever to specifically focus on the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the three branches of government. This game was meant to promote old fashioned, face to face student interaction, and wholesome family fun. A trademark has been filed for the name, "Constitutionology", and has a patent pending, application #: 61/627,123. The game includes: $15,000 play cash. Five separately colored pawns so five people can play at once. Six separate decks of cards with 100 questions each for a total of 600 cards. A pair of dice. Money Tray. Board Game. Card Holders.

Classroom Benefits:

Constitutionology is a great, easy way for students to learn about the U.S. Constitution, along with some early American history. It also provides a way for interaction among classmates. Teachers can use use this game to distribute extra credit to hard working students.

  • How to play the game Constitutionology:

Up to five players can play at one time. The goal of the game is to answer as many multiple choice questions correctly and win as much money as possible.
The player with the most money at the end of the game wins. The game starts on the corner with Uncle Sam, and players move counter clock wise around the board back to the starting point. That is considered one round. As players move around the board by rolling the dice they land on Red, White or Blue. They can also land on the three corners which are the Judicial Branch, Executive Branch and Legislative Branch. Players also can land on a square which has a special symbol or landmark. If a player lands on one of these squares, it is a bonus. The player receives a regular question corresponding with the color and also gets to choose an additional question from the three branches of Government. This allows the player to win additional money. Red has the hardest questions, which are worth $75.00. Blue are less difficult questions worth $50.00. White is the least difficult, worth $25.00. The Judicial, Executive and Legislative corners are worth $100.00.
The amount of time the game is played is established by the players prior to starting the game. For Example, everyone can declare the game over after three rounds, set time period, or when a certain dollar amount is reached.
When the game is over, everyone walks away with more knowledge of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. This game was designed to make people more informed about the most important document , which guides the greatest country that ever existed in the history of the world.
