Kegels for Hegel will have our first performance April 19. We are also buying equipment to record new songs. We hope Kegel-ers for Hegel will help us offset the costs of these projects, and in return, we will make you some awesome K4H swag.

Fucking with Philosophers, a Kegels for Hegel performance, is part of We'd love your company, A project with Ethan Breckenridge, curated by Michelle Y. Hyun, UAG Curatorial Fellow 2012-2014.
Kegels for Hegel is a conceptual project that makes music. Straddling philosophical smutcore and tongue in chic, Kegels for Hegel is an open collaboration of academics and artists that works the brain as well as the pelvic floor.
We will perform the songs:
I Wanna Fight you to the Death (Love Song to G.W.F. Hegel)
Bite Me (Love Song to Friedrich Nietzsche)
Sexual Selection (Love Song to Charles Darwin)
Thing (Love Song to Karl Marx and Friends)
Porno for Adorno (Love Song to Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno)

Risks and challenges
Kegels for Hegel's performance will take place at 6:30 pm April 19 at the University Art Gallery at the University of California San Diego. We will be singing four songs and presenting two videos. We do not have set completion dates for the rest of the songs and videos.
Kegels for Hegels rewards require a number of tools and skills, some we have, some we hope to attain. We might need to produce some of them professionally, which becomes more tenable the larger the order.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
