Revenge of the Blank
The party game where the winning answer could be "a squirrel, juggling knives while riding a unicycle", "mom?", or a drawing of a butt.
Revenge of the Blank is a simple party game. One person in this game called “The Judge” reads a prompt. Everyone else then writes a response on their own whiteboard. After all the responses have been submitted the Judge picks their favorite. They then give the card to the player who wrote the winning response. The player to the left of the Judge becomes the new Judge and the game continues like this until all the cards dealt out at the start of the game have been awarded. The player with the most points at the end of the game is the winner.
With three questions on each card, you should never have to ask a lame question. Because of the whiteboards you don't have predefined responses that don't fit the question like in many other games. In-jokes, friends, enemies or even events that have just happened can become answers. The same answers can be used over and over leading to some very funny running jokes. You can even draw an answer. Which in the end leads to a ton of laughs, many groans, few gasps and possible some interesting discussions.
Why is the funding goal so low, don't you actually need more to produce a game like this?
Yes, we need about $8,000 to produce and ship 1,000 copies of the base game and both expansions,. We currently have the funds to cover this cost, plus some extra for any unforeseen costs. So why are we putting the game on Kickstarter? Well we would like to see if we could garner enough interest for a higher print run. A higher print run would allow us to upgrade some of the components and possibly also allow us to add a few more cards.

Every Thursday we post a new question and pick our favorite response to the question from the week before. Come join the fun!
Please note: The following reviews were done with an earlier prototype under the previous names of Blank This Game! & No Blank Left Behind. There are only a couple of differences between them and Revenge of the Blank. First there were four prompts, 2 on each side of every card now there are three on a single side. This was done to speed up the game slightly by having all the prompts on one side of the card. The second change is, the earlier version of the game included the "NSFW" prompts in the base game. So these reviews should be taken as if they were being played with both of the Inevitable Explicit Expansion Packs.
Risks and challenges
With any project there are a variety of variables that need to be managed. It is a challenge to create a game, manufacture, ship to the warehouse, and fulfill to backers, that's why we have been working on this project for the last year. Trying to learn and prepare for everything that is involved in producing a board game. The graphic design is complete and the biggest challenge that we see for this project is fulfillment, to minimize that risk we are partnering with VFI Asia for fulfillment around the world. We aim to make this project run as smooth as we can possible make it.
If you have any questions about the project development please ask us. We are striving to be as transparent as possible.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
