Have a question?
@Matthew 1. Containers arrive at port. 2. Containers are shipped to logistics/shipping company. 3. Containers get unpacked and added to inventory. 4. Items get shipped to customers.
And, as I just mentioned earlier, Mel hasn't been able to do west coast order/emails yet, because they have to unload the shipments before she can do the inventory.
I'll agree that the latest update made it sound like all orders had been accounted for and emails sent out, but that isn't the case...it was just miscommunication/misinterpretation. None of the west coast orders have been processed at all, so our 4x6 tables very well may be sitting in that warehouse waiting to be unloaded.
@Matthew Graziano-Humphrey - I don't see anywhere where they said that 4x6 tables haven't left the factory? All the latest update says is that they have containers in the warehouse(s) (On the east/west coast of the states...NOT the factory) and they have to go through those.
Ok guys, I just talked to Mel via email.
If you are on the west coast, put your torches and pitchforks down! She hasn't gotten to the west coast orders yet!
@Thomas Rizzi - Yes, table tops will be a separate shipment. I can't tell you when though.
I'm frustrated, and reading the latest update, Mel is frustrated too. I know that it is out of Wood robot's control at this point and I am sure that shipping is not going as they intended.
The problem I have is that we were told in previous updates that the 4.6 tables were already in the warehouse, and now they haven't even left the factory?
In addition, it makes sense that you need to clear space in the warehouse in order to bring in more tables, but surely you can time it so you don't have to wait until the warehouse is empty before sending more containers?
Waiting until the end of July, if I don't have a tracking number by this point, I'll be looking for a refund. 7 months of delays is too much for something I paid over $1000 for.
Maybe someone knows the answer to my question. I got my 3.5 black table but it didn’t come with table tops. Does anyone know if that has been normal and they will ship out the table tops at a different time?
@Andy Martin - I'm not at upset stage. Upset would be not having a table shipped at all due to *insert reason here* that has happened on so many a kickstarter. I'm more disappointed. After talking with Mel last week over email I got my hopes up since she said it should have been in the shipment, but she also did do the normal disclaimer of she can't be sure. It's my own fault for getting my expectations up that I would get the email, rather than just accepting I wouldn't and then would have been pleasantly surprised that I got one.
I'm with both of you, frustrated because I was active on the Facebook group before launch with thought and opinions, They said first to back was first to receive. I figured being a single digit backer, backing in the first 10 min that I would be early. I accepted that it would be done by table size, and 4.6 table wasn't in the first shipments.... frustrated but not upset. Until now, Backer 9 in California and still no confirmation..... grrrrrr
@Hengst 2404 - Yeah. I was told last week that my tables should have been in the most recent shipment to hit the west coast on the 15th, but I haven't gotten the address confirmation email yet =( Sad.
Despite myself, I got excited after getting an email about my table this weekend. And yet here it is Tuesday and I have yet to heard anything further. Closer it gets the harder it becomes to be patient. I wish Wood Robot would be more responsive.
@thomas. Were the tracking numbers in an email from table of ultimate gaming or from the shipping company? What company is handling the shipping for you?
@bryan -sorry found you. Follow me back so I can DM you about these tops, please.
@bryan what is your handle on Twitter? It says no user by name @harshmage
@Thomas - congratulations. For you the wait is almost over.
Got my tracking numbers today for my 3.5 black table. Shipping to Texas :)
@Chris - Wisconsin, so I'm part of the East US shipping schedule for 4x6's
I'm hoping to get my email(s) today or tomorrow. Last time I talked to them a week ago they said I should have been on the most recent shipment. Here is hoping!
@Iceycat.....where are you in the world so we know what zone this is in
Was contacted over the weekend regarding confirming my shipping address, etc. I asked if there was a ballpark ETA and Melissa told me I should keep my eyes open in the next week or so hopefully. That's exciting! Can't wait to get this 4x6 puppy finally put in my gaming room! Still have to wait another month after it arrives for my tabletop and accessories but oh well.
Will there be samples of the chairs at gencon? I would love to give them a test sit.
@shayne. I agree. I really hope we get some tracking numbers so I can make arrangements for it’s delivery. This timing is less than ideal for me personally, but what are you going to do.
@Joshua - I am hopeful we start getting ship notifications this week. If it were me, I would want as many out the door prior to GenCon as possible. I imagine they feel the same way. Also, warehouse space is not free, and these are big.
Got information confirmation for 3 x 5 black Illinois. I didn't see anywhere on the email confirming a ship date.
Got my notice for 3x5 black. In Central FL. I know backer number doesn't matter, but I'm in the 300s.
Received my verification email for central New York 3.5 black table. Do we have any idea of what the turn around time will be for them to actually leave the shipper?
Excited to get .y rmail for my east coast 4x6 walnut table. Now just the wait to receive it and the wait for the topper
For those who are still waiting for 3.5 table tops, or just want different options, in Phoenix, AZ (or are willing to drive out here to pick up), I can cut, stain, and put a good protective coat on birch ply (one full sheet, for continuity). Takes a week to finish, but the tops look awesome.
I currently have the right stain for the Dark Walnut table I received, but I can get others to match or you can choose a stain.
Also, for the Phoenix area, if you have broken bits from the table (usually the pre-assembled dowels break), I can fix those too.
Reach out to me on Twitter or Instagram (@Harshmage) if you're interested.
From what i understand I should be getting my 3.5 table soon (US east coast) but the table tops will arrive at least 2 months after that.
I will need to use the table as a dining table so I wanted to know if someone has a cheap solution of buying some board that can fit on the table until the table tops arrive, and if so, what dimensions should it be.
@Shayne Not Joel. A.J. Pfeifer
@Amy, Joel is below, posting about how he got his table, its size, color, etc.
I have seen 2 posts on Facebook from folks who claim to have gotten tables in the last week. Neither has come on here to post. One I believe was named Joel and the other Matthew. I think they were west coast.
Anyone on the east coast get their tables from the last update?
Also anyone know which parcel service they are using?
What are the chances we will get some shipping information today. It’s been two weeks that’s the 3.5 tables have been in the warehouse.
Completely agree, Tim
With 1400 backers it would be a logistical nightmare (and completely impractical) to ship via backer number. Even if you did try inevitably you’ll be sending out tables/containers to backers further down the line just to pack out the containers.
If backer 1 was someone in USA, 2 was in the UK and 3 was in Australia that means 3 containers going in 3 different directions, with different options. You could safely assume they will want to fill that container going to Australia (and the one guy in NZ) before it leaves. Subsequently they’ll be grabbing tables from backer numbers all throughout the campaign. Otherwise all the shipping costs are going to skyrocket for everyone.
Agreed timing has slipped a fair bit from that original January date but I’m still excited and can’t wait to get the table. Particularly if all the little niggles have been sorted out so I get a better (intact) product.
Backer number doesn't mean anything to these guys. Neither do timelines apparently.. It'll be fall by the time I get mine most likely. Buyers regret is strong with this kickstarter
But yes, I dont think it matters really.
To see your backer number select "View pledge". It will be near the top under your name
I'm not sure how to look up my backer number in the app but I know I backed in the later half, but I don't think backer number corresponds to anything anymore as far as delivery time. I live in the west coast, I got a 3.5 birch with purple mat. I got a shipping notice on may 21st. So it took about another month
East coast or west coast? Backer number? Color and size?
Thanks Joel, what size and color did you receive? Did you get a shipping notice? Thanks,
@Breotan Just a guess here, but it might mean that one shipment that contained 3.5 tabels, 3.5 black tops and some of the 4.6 black tops has arrived, while another shipment containing 4.6 tables and more 4.6 black tops will arrive on Jul 14?
@Mel - Thanks you are awesome!
Just wanted to leave a note here that I have received my table today! It took 3 of us around 2 hours to build but with the new instruction manual it was super easy to put together. It looks really nice and we couldn't be happier. Having looked at other options we're really happy with what we got for the price we paid even factoring in the delays. If anyone has any questions or would like to see any photos let me know (or message me on kickstarter) and I would be happy to oblige.
Part of the confusion is when you list things like this:
3.5 Table 3.5 black table tops 4.6 black table tops Already in warehouse
4.6 tables 4.6 black table tops 14-Jul
Are the 4.6 black table tops in the warehouse already? Or will they be arriving on the 14th of July?
I would like to know when the 4x6 natural birch tables and white tops are expected to deliver to the West Coast USA.
@WoodRobot - East shipments for 4.6 tables where scheduled to arrive at the distribution warehouse today per the last update. Would you be able to confirm that they arrived on schedule? I know shipping from the warehouse is a seperate date down the road of course.
@woodrobot Will we be receiving shipping notification when our table is leaving the warehouse? I dont live at home during the summer(one of the many reasons why I backed, because of supposed delivery date) so I need to be able to plan for when it will be delivered and ask my neighbor to bring it in for me, or something along those lines.
