I made a hole with a pin in the tile on each side, to accommodate a 3 mm spherical magnet, without letting it go out, leaving it free to rotate. So there are both locking systems, the magnet and the hook to be printed. choose the one you prefer. (the dimensions below are not real, it is a measure for the magnets test)
added the intersections river-swamp, river-lake, lake-swamp
Added 32 hexagons to create highlands (16 base and 16 to add above) to be combined to create various shapes as desired
and 6 rocks to accompany the plateau
These two large models as stretch goals I will provide them both whole and divided into parts 15x15 cm (with pins) for all the backers who supported me. Thank you
You can use the waterfall as the beginning of the river
The water is a separate model so you can print it in the color you prefer or transparent
The altar is interchangeable, you choose which one to put
Hi all, I'm here with a new project, a printable version of modular hexagonal terrain for 28 mm miniatures (or others scale).
Exagons can be combined with each other in any position (except the swamp that is to itself) to form a 160 x 120 cm (63 x 47 inches) scenario.
Each hexagon measures 158 x 137 mm (6.2 x 5.4 inches) scaled for 28 mm miniatures but you can scale it any way you like.
The height of each hexagon varies from about 2 and 6 cm (0.78 - 2.3 inches) . Unnecessary supports (except the huts)
Exagon printed in PLA
With a small staple to print you can join the hexagons to have a more stable ground, also being the hook under the hexagons, it is easy to replace a hexagon without moving the ones next to it
The package includes 100 files (153 with the stretch goals)
-16 river hexagons
-27 rocks hexagons
-10 cobblestone road hexagons
-11 gravel road hexagons
-6 stone huts hexagons
-3 ruins hexagons
-3 hill hexagons
-5 skeletons hexagons
-9 walls hexagons
-9 swamp hexagons
-1 empty hexagon
-1 half hexagon
-1 closing triangle
-13 lake hexagons
-32 highland hexagons
-staple for locking in different sizes.
-waterfall model whole and divided into 15x15 cm pieces
-altar model whole and divided into 15x15 cm pieces
By supporting this project you'll get the STL files necessary to print your own all models you see on this page,
------ YOU WILL RECEIVE THE FILES ONLY FOR 3D PRINTING IN STL, NOT THE PHYSICAL MODELS ------
Each model was digitally sculptured by me, and received the following checks:
-Check with Autodesk Netfabb Premium 2018
-Check with Autodesk Meshmixer
-Check with Autodesk 3ds Max 2016 Stl Checker
-Check of slices with Cura
Every mesh is CLOSED,ORIENTED,WITHOUT BORDER EDGES,INV. ORIENTATION, HOLES.
At the end of the campaign I will send the files to backers via Google Drive.
Note: All models are for personal use only and may NOT be used for commercial purpose.
Below the photos of the complete scenario made with the technique of milling on polystyrene to quickly test the STL files and give you a glance of the whole.
note: the dead trees, the tower and the ruin beside it, are not part of the campaign, they are from the previous "fantasy pack" campaign available as a bundle in the last pledge.
Tower from my previous campaign
Dead trees and ruin from my previous campaign

With these 13 pieces you can decide the shape an the dimension of the lake.
