A last little update for all the backers: 4 flat rocks and 4 stumps to complete your scenario.
These two models: "the collapsed bridge" and "the square tower" are a bonus for those who have chosen "The Package"
Hi everyone, I'm a 3D modeler and painter, I have been working for years in creating components for video games. I've discovered the 3D printer universe by chance, and my enthusiasm was at the top realizing that I could touch all the models I had in my mind! In this first set I have made 18 models:
I hope you'll enjoy it!...
I would like very much this to become my job, to retranslate my past projects into printable files and see them realized (like this here: LINK 1 or this: LINK 2, but time and money are needed to model. I would like to be able to open an online store to sell both digital and physical models. At this starting stage, prices are lower compared to final selling prices.
By supporting this project you'll get the STL files needed to print your own all models you see on this page,
------ YOU WILL RECEIVE THE FILES ONLY FOR 3D PRINTING IN STL, NOT THE PHYSICAL MODELS ------
Each model was digitally sculptured by me, and received the following checks:
-Check with Autodesk Netfabb Premium 2018
-Check with Autodesk Meshmixer
-Check with Autodesk 3ds Max 2016 Stl Checker
-Check of slices with Cura
-Printed with Pla with my monoprice select mini V2
Every mesh is CLOSED,ORIENTED,WITHOUT BORDER EDGES,INV. ORIENTATION, HOLES.
The cutting of the models and the generation of support trellis depend on your printer.
At the end of the campaign I will send the files to the backers via Google Drive.
Note: All models are for personal use only and may NOT be used for commercial purpose.
- A set of 5 dead trees suitable for a bewitched forest, each tree is very detailed and has a high resolution of triangles. For a proper 28mm scale I climbed it to 13 cm and printed it with my Monoprice select mini V2 ,you choose the scale you want. I set the thickness of the walls to 0.75 mm and the filling to 0. Setting supports to "touching build plate" cleaning the model took a few minutes, without tools
Printed in PLA
Painted by me with acrylic colors and some synthetic grass inserted into the interstices
Together with the whole tree file, I also provide the tree with the branches apart, to make a faster print with less filament
A series of 8 cliffs, very detailed . Useful for creating rocky ravines or a mountain landscape.
The cut pieces have pins to facilitate gluing
A series of 5 ruins, very detailed built brick on brick ...
Printed with my Monoprice in 3 pieces, glued and painted with acrylic colors
The circular tower (older version) with a gray background before being painted
To avoid showing the stitches, when I paint I use the acrylic color in an undiluted manner, as if it were putty.
The 6 pieces of the model (the sixth is on the top of the tower -print test)
To every backers I will provide a short guide to easy painting the models you see printed in PLA on this page.
Below I have indicated a suggestion of scale if you are using miniatures of 28 mm, I will provide both the whole models and cut into pieces 100x100x100 mm. However, if you have print plans larger than this size, you should cut the models in accordance with your printing plan to make as little gluing as possible. if you need a specific cut and you're in trouble I'll be happy to help you. For what concerns the scale that I provide for the cliffs is purely indicative, because the rocks unlike trees and ruins can be climbed from a few to many meters in size, as well as in nature. So choose the scale you prefer.
Risks and challenges
Since you will be receiving digital STL files printing yourself, the risk is kept at the minimum since there is NO PHYSICAL MODELS delivery involved.
Quality of the printed models will depend on your printer settings.
I printed these models with PLA without any difficulty with a Monoprice Select Mini V2. if you need assistance I will be happy to give it to you
