One day I visited with another friend in the textile industry and we were having the same conversation we always had: "why do the consumers have to pay as a result of all the middlemen?"
I told him "it would be great if we could pass on all those savings to the customers."
He was completely aligned but didn't know how.
This is where I leveraged my experience in the tech and ecommerce industry to come up with a direct to consumer model. Currently, the industry has multiple layers before it reaches the customer:
If we can start sending our sheets directly from our manufacturing facility to the customer, we can pass on all the margins to the customer.
This is how Linen Village was born.
We approach our products with a simple lens:
1. We want our products to be awesome aka quality is our top priority. We are manufacturing ridiculously soft and comfortable bedsheets.
2. We want our price point to be accessible - so you can buy a whole sheet set for a reasonable price.
Most bedsheets that are high quality are super expensive.
Because we are able to eliminate multiple middlemen, we are able to offer 300 thread count, egytian-quality percale cotton sheets sets for only $98.
That's a 66% savings on comparable sheet sets!

Still not convinced? We get it.
You're thinking "Whatever sounds too good to be true, probably is".
So for those disbelievers, we made this offer especially for you:
That's right. 100 days sleeping on our crisp, perfect sheets and if you don't like it, we'll send your money back (conditions apply, see "Risks and Challenges" for more.
AND if you keep them and they happen to fray 60 years from now when you're in your retirement home, we'll replace them, free.
If you're still reading and you haven't backed yet, you must be one the people who read all the ingredients on the back of the labels.
No problem. We are too.
In fact, we bring over 40 years of experience in the textile industry.
Welcome to Textiles 101.
So what about our sheets? We use the highest quality percale cotton available in Pakistan comparable to Egyptian cotton. We assure you that you would not be disappointed with our product.
Obviously, Egypt is where the best cotton grows, right?
By sourcing our cotton from select farmers in Pakistan, we are able to find cotton staples at a consistently similar length to Egyptian cotton staples.
Longer staple fabrics fray less, pill less, wrinkle less, and even fade less than fabrics made with their short-staple counterparts,
The word percale is derived from pargalal, a centuries-old cloth from Persia. Today, Pakistan represents the area of Persia that historically produced this fine, tightly woven fabric.
In fact, the majority of the Pakistani economy is represented by the cotton industry, and in recent years this beautiful cotton has fallen out of fashion and gone unnoticed--leaving many cotton farmers to tighten wages to lower costs.
We only source our cotton from Multan Fields (where we know it's the most ethically produced) and employ Pakistani women at nearly double the average local wage.
You can know that you're not only getting good sheets, but you're supporting a compassionate and grateful community as well
Now, back to the materials: typical percale sheets are produced at 200 thread count, sometimes higher.
We understand that quality cotton is key and don't waste money competing in the thread count number war. We're confident you won't notice a difference between 200 and 500 thread count sheets from the same fabric.
You might compare the feel to a perfectly pressed men's dress shirt or sheets in a five-star hotel.
All these details add up to sheets that won't just be soft, they'll last forever too.
Risks and challenges
Most small textile manufacturers lack the ability to distribute the product in a reliable and consistent way. For this reason, many of the small producers who invest in quality are forced to partner with middle-men to get the sheets to you.
To solve this problem, we are bringing the tools used to help modern tech companies scale to our factories in Pakistan with your help. By equipping our factories with a new distribution system and closely managing the operations, we can easily supply sheets around the world.
