Saturday, July 26th at 9:30pm at The Cutting Room
Once upon a time, there was a young woman who had her heart broken. In order to escape from her anguish, she embarked on an endeavor to sing fifty songs based on different people’s broken heart stories in various New York City subway stations.
And now, for one evening, the magic of Fifty Days Underground is going to come alive just for you. Allow your heart to be broken and put back together again as several talented musicians, actors and artists come together to perform a selection of heart-wrenching songs and stories from the project.
Whether you know it or not, you’re already a part of the journey. Maybe you submitted your story. Maybe you ran into me on the subway platform. Maybe you inspired me. Maybe I inspired you. Now it’s time for all of us to come together and celebrate our brokenness, because without it, we wouldn’t know real love. You won’t want to miss this spectacular show!
All supporters will also be sent a digital video copy of the show.

Risks and challenges
This is the first show of its kind that combines dispersed artists from the NYC subway system, off-Broadway actors, and of course all of your stories from around the globe. We have a core group of artists and production managers who have been touched by this project and want to share the stories and connections with a broader audience. Because this core group consists of musicians, vocalists, actors, producers, and even fresh non-industry insight, the project will be an immersive storytelling event that will connect the audience with moments of nostalgia, heartache, and hope.
With the venue rental, rehearsal spaces, set design, and other costs, every dime will go to the production of the show.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
