We are currently making plans to record our third short-form album this June at the historic Sound Factory in Hollywood, CA. What we expect to be our meatiest release to date, the new EP will be comprised of five new and completely original songs, and will hopefully reflect another side (or two) of the Incan Abraham prism.
Named one of Time Magazine's 'Ten Acts that Rocked SXSW' this past March, we're excited to record the songs we've been playing out live. In collaboration with our dear friend and engineer Clinton Welander, we plan on outdoing previous recordings, while continuing to build on the sound we've been honing since our start in late 2009.
To make this release as good as we know it can be, we're seeking additional funds. The money raised will go towards the primary costs of recording, such as studio time, tape reels, mixing/mastering expenses, etc.
If you connect with what we do/are trying to do, and are feeling generous, please help us get this ep off the ground. Our project has been sustained by a sense of sharing and good will since the very start, and we are grateful for the opportunity that Kickstarter provides to preserve that spirit, while also helping to meet logistical requirements.
We believe in giving our music away for free, and as is the case with all our work, the finished product will be made available to backers and non-backers alike for free listen/download on our bandcamp page.
To whatever extent you've spent time with and enjoyed our music in the past, we sincerely appreciate it.
Teddy, Spencer, Andrew & Giuliano
