So, you want to make a difference?
We do too. That’s why we established Changing Lives Community. We aim to do just that – change lives for the better!
Changing Lives Community is seeking project funds in order to bring our vision of supporting those in need in our society while promoting eco-sustainability and developing self-sufficient communities to fruition.
Who is Changing Lives ?
Changing Lives Community is an organization with a vision: providing treatment, education and living skills to displaced families, veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and others who are suffering from issues, ranging from drug addictions to social exclusion. Our organization is based on a self-sufficient, eco-friendly model and our approach to rehabilitation is all about inclusion and mutual support. With an ever-increasing dedication to flexibility and innovation, our goal is to eradicated homelessness, fight addictions and end the dependency on social welfare programs. We also stand on the side of veterans, and we aim to help them live a productive and balanced lifestyle.
Changing Lives Community- 3 W' s (who,what and where)
What if we could eradicate homelessness? End dependency from an increasingly unreliable welfare system or ensure openness and support for everyone? Changing Lives Community aims to start a brand new community that will address these issues and much more. Our ideals are not only based on supporting those in needs in our society, but also on promoting eco-sustainability and self-sufficient communities. Currently, our objective is to build a community on the West Coast of the US, with a vision to offer resident capacity for 2.000 people, while also create a veteran’s center, a hospital, school and various social and working hubs, ranging from manufacturing centers to farming and livestock.
Find out how to support our project and get involved.
Your contribution is an investment in the health and happiness of society’s most vulnerable – veterans, those living with addiction, the homeless and the welfare-dependent. Without your help, these people would not have the opportunity to not only survive, but ‘thrive’.
The Changing Lives Community aims to create a long-term rehabilitation community on the West Coast of the US, with living space for 2000 people, and other self-sufficiency and community outreach structure.
With your support, we will be able to:
- Sustain operational costs and administration expenses including development plan, printing, insurance, legal fees, wages, permits and rewards.
- Continue to develop Changing Lives Community, bringing essential services and programs to an increasing number of society’s most vulnerable people.
We are grateful that the initial construction costs have been approved and will be supported by loans provided by a finance group in the U.K. We look forward to bringing this amazing community to life! Let’s eradicate welfare dependency, homelessness, and addiction. Our veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) deserve to have their life back!
Risks and challenges
We understand that the project has a very large scale, and it might seem be a bit overwhelming to some. However, this concept has been in the works for over 2 years and we set out to team up with the best consultants concerning each department of the project, in order to guarantee its success and optimal fruition.
This is a major initiative that will involve many contractors and managers, working together on each center, in order to build this community within our timeline. Even then, initiatives of such large scopes might encounter some challenges: delays could happen in spite of all our best efforts: the weather could be an issue at times, materials might come in later than expected and the bureaucracy of permits and inspections could also be slow.
The grand opening for reward members will commence as scheduled, as the build will still be ongoing until approximate June 2019. The community will only occupy employees of the community until August 2019. During the period between the grand opening and its doors being opened for residents in September 2019, we will be testing programs, equipment, implementing policies, planting and settling livestock.
Our construction loan is approved pending the completion of the development plan and purchase of a financial risk policy through Lloyd's of London. We have additional investors that have committed to the build of 3 communities across the United States. We have taken every necessary step to guarantee funding for the construction.
We look forward to bringing this amazing community to life! Let’s eradicate welfare dependency, homelessness, and addiction. Our veterans deserve to have their life back!
