This is it!

Hi Cheese Lovers

We are so sorry for the delay!

At the start of this month we were on target for shipping and then my house a.k.a "MakeCheese HQ" was robbed. I had two computer stolen and the upset this caused seemed unending for a while...

This it it now. All kits are heading out in batches every day this week. (They usually take 5-7 days in. North America)

I sincerely apologize. Shipping in March arriving in April is not what I set out to do, but I'm still excited that soon enough many of you will be beginning your cheese making adventures.

Kind regards

      Hi Ella,

I'm moving this week, and I still haven't received my package. I know that there weren't tracking numbers on the single kits, but is there any way to know if it was shipped?

    5. Jo Sheppard on April 16, 2013

Not in a rush but just wanted you to know I have not yet received my order.

    6. Ella Creator on April 16, 2013

For those of you still waiting we are going to check on the dates and any tracking numbers (single kits will not have tracking numbers due to the extra shipping cost).

Not too worry, all kits will be replaced and resent if they have not arrived.

      Thanks for your patience.

I received my kickstarter kit (mozza and feta) today. What a wonderful surprise. I wish I had no plans this weekend, because my plan would be to have a cheese making party ;)

I messaged you about a change in address but haven't heard anything back- did you get it?

For longest storage possibilite we recommend you keep the cultures from the kits in your freezer, but they will come to little harm if they are out of the freezer a few days or weeks, much like coffee beans.

      Hope this helps

Quick question, I will probably be out of town when my kit arrives. Can my wife just stick it in the freezer?

      Hey Ella!
Im so sorry to hear about what happened. Dont worry about us. We are so thankful for everything that you do.
To be honest, this is my only kickstarter which is closest to the actual shipping date. Thank you for that :)
      Keep up the good work!

All the paths that lead to great accomplishments have there difficult parts at some point in the travel. But it's the ability to overcome theses difficult parts and the determination to move forward that turn a simple travel to a worthy accomplishment.

Ella, as long as you were not hurt, all the rest is just stuff that is replaceable. We'll be thrilled with our kits when we get them. I know it's hard to dispel the feeling of vulnerability and having been invaded, even when you are not there when a burglary occurs. It takes some time - and maybe consider an alarm system.

A MONTH LATE?!!!! Hahaa, seriously, don't sweat it. That is nothing to worry about it. I'm excited for my cheese though! Glad to see you're back up.

So sorry about what happened. I would rather my cheese kits were stolen instead. Don't worry about the delivery schedule, it's hardly a delay by Kickstarter standards.
