Eisley and the Quest to be Baby-Free - A Children's Book
Join Eisley as she does amazing feats in awesome adventures with new friends. From fighting ninjas to juggling starfish with a mermaid, there is nothing Eisley can’t do! Or so she thought. Everyone keeps telling her to have a baby. But Eisley doesn’t want to have babies. She knows what is best for her…or does she? Will she change her mind? Grab a slushie and pull up your kayak and find out!
It seemed EVERYONE had an opinion about HER body and HER choice. I felt the need to write a children's story about her experiences to explain to my daughters that it was very much okay to not want babies. People can live fulfilled lives without starting a family.
Fast forward to some time later and I was encouraged to publish my story. I never knew I wanted to publish a book until I decided to do it. I want to share with the world that fighting for a woman's right to choose is not enough.
No one knows you better than you know yourself.
This story shows women of all ages to stick to your guns and stand up for what you know is right about yourself, even if the rest of world has their own opinion. It also has a super fun girl who can play the banjo with her toes. I mean, c'mon. Who wouldn't want to read a book that has that?!
I've had an awesome experience with them so far and expect great results.
I like that they have access to a large number of the major retailers in America, Europe and the UK. They will be placing physical copies of my book in 40,000 stores across the globe, along with the ability to order my book online at major retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iTunes. They also have various packages that you can pick to best suit your needs. They offer marketing, promotion, e-book creation, paperback and hardcover options.
I was especially pleased to learn I still own all the rights to my book. Authorhouse also does the technical work of acquiring ISBNs for each edition.
Things always look legit when there's a pie chart. This breakdown of my goal explains where the money you donate will be headed.
Look at me go! I made a cute timeline with some of the cast members that my illustrator lovingly created. I know May seems forever away, but all good things come to those who wait. With your help we can make this dream a reality!
