Ed and Carolyn: Thanks so much for the musical inspiration! The first album I ever bought was Ghost in the Machine by The Police. Jen's always impressed when I have a song for every occasion and so I'm embarrassed I'd forgotten about their Canary in a Coal Mine track. Thanks for bringing it to our attention and for bringing a smile to my face tonight. Warmly, Omar (Jen's main squeeze)

Canary In A Coalmine- The Police
"First to fall over when the atmosphere is less than perfect
Your sensibilities are shaken by the slightest defect
You live you life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line

You say you want to spend the winter in Firenza
You're so afraid to catch a dose of influenza
You live your life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line

Now if I tell you that you suffer from delusions

You pay your analyst to reach the same conclusions
You live your life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line

First to fall over when the atmosphere is less than perfect
Your sensibilities are shaken by the slightest defect
You live your life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line"

This is a wonderful project, and I hope you get all the funding you need!
A couple of years back, a Norwegian journalist wrote a book about ME, and called it "De bortgjemte" - or the hidden/forgotten/concealed. Unfortunately, that is the case with so many patient - hidden away and forgotten. If you can bring them out of hiding and into people's awareness, it will be a great help to all those forgotten patients.
For what it is worth - I try to spread the word :)

Having the support of Stephen fry is sure to give the campaign a great boost to hit your target. I'm a huge fan of his work to support and raise awareness for mental health, so I'm glad we've got someone like that backing our cause.

A big well done for gaining the special prize too! Jen, you are an inspiration to us all!
