Good questions everyone. I live in Germany and am interested in sharing my story, but financially unable to pledge $1,200 or $2,000 (!). So for example if patients like myself are able to raise the $1,200 - $2,000, there is still no "guarantee" their individual story will be included in the "final cut", correct? And at the same time you're offering individuals stories to be shared on your official website for "free" I.e. a minimal pledge only required, with option that one's story " may be considered" for the film. So does this mean the criteria for ones story to actually make it into the final cut applies no matter if the individual has made a $1,200-$2,000 Pledge OR completes the Share Your Story Form on your website? I'm already a supporter of your project/film and am as many others have shared in their comments "very" grateful and happy for your creating this great project! I look forward to your response to this topic. Thank You! Best, Gina
This is great news. I'm close to LA. Makes the interview MUCH easier for me.
And, just curious, but the English do not use the American dollar. And the rest are Euros, I think. Have y'all figured out how to do that transition/translation to make it as easy as possible for someone in Holland or Ireland or Timbuktu to come up with $2000 American bucks? I don't mind being embarrassed by asking the stupid questions as long as it shortens the road and before the canary dies. marcie
A logistical tax question regarding the upper end pledges: For example, how can I have 12 people make a $100 tax-deductible pledge totaling $1200 "in my name" so that I can speak my peace in New York? Or someone else have multiple contributions total $2000 so that they can be interviewed in London? Tell us how and I am gonna figure that the Big Buck Pledges will be a done deal. Let the show begin!!!! marcie myers firstname.lastname@example.org
