Revolution Doughnuts is poised to revitalize the American
doughnut, to help restore it to its former glory as a simple, tasty,
hand-crafted treat. What makes us different from just about every
doughnut shop on the planet is that we are committed to using real
food ingredients: organic flour, local dairy, fresh fruit, and natural
flavor extracts. We will never make our treats with cheap pre-fab
mixes, artificial junk from a pail, or funky trans-fats.
We are a small family-owned start-up baking company, formerly operating under the name "Little Red Hen Bakeshop.” We started baking in our home kitchen - then in borrowed commercial spaces - selling our treats at local area farm stand markets, where we have built up a loyal customer base. It has long been our dream to open a seven-day-a-week brick and mortar operation, a neighborhood cafe that combines hand-crafted treats and delicious locally roasted coffee. Revolution Doughnuts was born out of this dream.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We have put our life savings into the build-out of our new commercial
kitchen space and are now asking our community to lend their support
in making the retail shop a reality. Your contribution to our

Re: Shipping: We have been getting some requests for shipping doughnuts to folks living outside the Atlanta area. While we would love to be able to make doughnuts for everyone we gotta keep it local right now. We invite you contribute to our campaign then ship yourself to Atlanta - the weather is mighty fine this time of year - and when you get here, come by the shop and we will set you up with a little doughnut feast!
Re: Vegan/GF/Peanut and Nut Allergies: We are not a vegan bakery - but some of our doughnuts happen to be vegan. We are not a gluten free bakery - but we intentionally make some doughnuts (and other shop treats) with GF ingredients so that our GF friends can eat treats when they visit us. We make treats with peanuts, pecans, and other tree nuts. We try to label our treats in the bakery case, wash pans and equipment between uses to avoid cross contamination but we can not promise that you will not encounter the thing you are sensitive to. Our products may not be suitable for folks with extreme sensitivities to gluten, animal products or nuts because our kitchen uses these products in the production of some of our treats.
