Chorus: Frog Warrior is a role-playing adventure game about a little frog trying to prove themself in a world full of warriors much bigger than them.
In the game, you play as Chorus, a young frog with dreams of protecting the world. Being a tree frog, however, society expects them to lead a life of religious studies, instead of training to be a warrior. Their small size certainly doesn't help anyone take them seriously, either. Seeking a better life, Chorus moves to Boreala, a village where many warriors train under the wisdom of a veteran soldier. They quickly learn things aren't going to be as easy as they hoped. With a powerful army and a disturbing rumour both on the rise, Chorus needs to discover what it means to be a truly good warrior - before it's too late.
Explore a beautiful, atmospheric land and fight monsters on your journey to prove your place in the world.
- Expressive 2D animated characters and monsters!
- Lots of cute and strange characters to talk to as you explore the land of Salia!
- Six unique areas filled with their own special monsters, villages, and bosses!
- A heartfelt story that deals with themes of hope, found family, and finding your strengths!
A young frog with a strong desire to protect the people around them. The other warriors of the village make fun of Chorus for their small size, but this just makes Chorus more determined to prove themself.
The kind leader of Boreala and a veteran of the Dry Lands War. Unable to fight now due to his old age and amputation, he provides advice to the warriors of his village.
The tyrannical leader of the Taural Empire. Wishing to expand his empire as much as possible, Lord Lithos is slowly spreading his influence across the land.
Several dangerous and mysterious monsters roam the wilderness of Salia. Throughout their quest, Chorus will encounter creatures such as skitterbuds, humming devils, and dragons.

Extra Special Thanks
All backers of $5 of more get to have their names in the credits of Chorus: Frog Warrior, but with this reward, you'll stand out! You'll be drawn as a frog in the style of the game, appearing beside your name in the credits.
Create a Character
You'll get to help build a character to appear in the game somewhere. I'll help you come up with their design, dialogue, and story, making sure they fit the feel of the world and the game. Similar to the Extra Special Thanks Reward, your character and their name will appear beside your name in the credits.
Design a Dungeon
Rumours tell of a hidden network of dungeons deep underground called the Tunnel of Champions, constructed by a group of powerful warriors designed to test the skill of those who enter. You can help create a room in this forgotten piece of Salia's history! Design the Champion that built your room, and create a trial to test the player's abilities. Your Champion and their name will appear beside your name in the credits.
The trailer above shows off what I've done the past couple months of working on the game. Progress has been a bit slow due to other responsibilities, mainly work. That’s why I’m turning to Kickstarter. The main goal is to raise enough money to cover my expenses for the year, so I can work on Chorus full time, greatly speeding up development. The money will also go towards paying the composer and covering other smaller development costs such as sound design. If the goal isn't reached, I’ll have to find a full time job. In turn, I’ll have way less time and energy to spend on the game. Who knows how long the game will take to come out if that happens? If you like what you see, consider backing! It's the easiest way to help the game's development.
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge this project could face is delays in release. My current goal is to release the game in 2021, but as the game is still fairly early in development, I can't be entirely sure. I'm going to do what I can to try and release it by the end of 2021, but if any setbacks happen, I'll be sure to announce it here.
Making a game is in itself a big challenge. There's a lot of work to do, but I'm very passionate about this project, and I'm going to strive to make it the best possible version of itself. I'll be spending long hours making sure the art looks wonderful, and I'm sure there will be many boring weeks of testing every nook and cranny of the game, but ultimately it'll be worth it.
In the end, I want to deliver the best possible Chorus: Frog Warrior experience that I can, so I'll be doing whatever it takes to get there. I'm excited for all of you to play it.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
