$10K+ and 3 DAYS TO GO!
Now, THAT'S a milestone!
Thanks to you amazing people, we passed the $10K mark earlier today. For a comic with no "names" associated with it, that's quite the accomplishment - and a significant compliment to the uber-skilled artists behind it all.
Passing $10K also means that, yes, I will be writing a brand new ULTRASYLVANIA short story with brand new artwork. This will be a digital bonus for ALL of our supporters.
Next stop on the Stretch Goal highway - $10,500 and a set of buttons, featuring artwork from ULTRASYLVANIA, VOL. 3: The Book of the Damned.
Never done this before, but I'd like to give a nod to a pair of other campaigns currently funding on Kickstarter.
First up, Figments. This comic anthology is written and illustrated entirely by students from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. It's their seventh(!) volume in a mere two years, and showcases some real up-and-comers.
Wrapping up in a matter of hours, In the Dark is a horror anthology comic that has already surpassed - in fact, doubled - its $30k goal. It's not hard to imagine why, considering the creative roster reads like a who's who of the comic industry's heavy hitters - Scott Snyder, Steve Niles, Justin Jordan, Cullen Bunn, Declan Shalvey, Tradd Moore, and many more. The brainchild of writer/editor Rachel Deering, this book looks fantastic.
We have 3 days to go
We are on course to best the $10,510 pledged for Volume 2. Want to make me ecstatic? Let's blow past the $11,507 of Volume 1. It's certainly doable. YOU can help - by spreading the word. Facebook. Twitter. Skywriting. Seance. It's all good. And we THANK YOU for your efforts.
