The Road to Ultrasylvania: The Facebook Page
So, we've been labeled "Popular" by the Kickstarter Powers That Be. That's always a nice feeling. I suppose the fact that you folks shot us out of the gate like a cannonball might have had a liiiiittle something to do with it. (Please, pardon the mixed metaphor. I've hardly slept since before this thing launched.)
When the campaign began - waaaay back yesterday - we posted that backers could go to the Ultrasylvania Facebook Page to see their names clustered together in Thank You bundles. And, we did that. For Day One. Well, now we've gone and made something a tad more special. Still involves Facebook. There's no escaping the Zuckerberg.
Introducing The Road to Ultrasylvania: Funding the Book of the Damned. It's a Facebook event page dedicated to this campaign. We'll post some fun stuff, periodic (really brief) updates, and of course the Daily Thank You Bundles. (Might need to Trademark that.) Not only can you go there to check stuff out - and see your name in... well, not exactly "lights" - but you can also invite friends who might just want to see what's going on... from a discrete distance. OH! And many of the artists involved will be on there, too. So, you can interact with them, ask them questions, tell them how awesome they are - rather than just having missives to keep you amused.
Last but not least, if you're tuning in shortly after I post this, we've got the following a-going on:
Get us to $6k before 9AM PST tomorrow - Wednesday, October 2 - and we'll hook everyone up with an exclusive pack of wallpapers for your desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
So, there's that.
