PX! is an all-ages-friendly 140 page soft-cover graphic novel that is completely finished and ready to print! This is a new printing of PX! Book One: A Girl and Her Panda. That's it. (We are hoping to hit the stretch goal to print this as a hard cover)
It is time to get PX! under the wing of FishTank Books along with Victoria Jr., Martin Monsterman, RGB, and Under Where?.
What's the backstory on this PX! nonsense?!?
For many years, PX! existed only as an online webcomic chronicling the adventures of Dahlia and her unlikely band of travelers. Readers flocked from far and wide to gaze upon the splendor of the hot-pink HTML code, and sometimes even read comics pages. The PX! series made its print debut in 2007 (published through Image Comics) and in 2008 was subsequently nominated for TWO Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards (for "Best Publication For Teens" and "Best Digital Comic" – the latter of which was triumphantly lost to Joss Whedon).
[PS: Joss Whedon, we forgive you.]
After we finished Book Two of PX! Eric took to semi-professional pixel jockeying and I went on a maniacal comic art making spree leading to this last year when we both realized that the world needed PX! (Actually they needed hexidecimal color #e43e87) It's time to re-launch PX! for an all new audience, and we cannot forget the awesome fanbase that made PX! possible in the first place. The die-hards deserve to see all four volumes of PX! finished. This re-launch is just the first step in helping us get there.
So here we are, in the year Two Thousand Aught Seventeen, and the PX! Crew (Eric and I) are teaming with Fishtank Books (Wait...isn't that me too...?) to embolden the world with a story that was lauded for it's gooftastic and whimsical ways.
Great backstory, bruh... but what is the BOOK about??
PX! Book One: a Girl and Her Panda is a 140 page graphic novel that follows a young girl named Dahlia and her trusty Panda sidekick as she sets off on an journey around the globe to save her missing father, who has been kidnapped by Pollo – an evil goat mastermind bent on taking over the world.
Along the way she’ll meet Weatherby Ian Poppington III, a Victorian secret agent better known as “Double Aught Seven”...
...and Wikkity Jones, a world-class roller-disco skating swordsman (or is it samurai?) whose mysterious motivations are not entirely clear.
Paths will be crossed, alliances will be formed, and ninjas will be punched. Will this unlikely band of misfits be able to stop Pollo in time, or is it already too late for Dahlia’s dad – and the world?
We posted-up the first chapter at our website. Go check it out. We'll wait...
So what are the pledge levels?
Thanks so much for taking a look at PX!!! Consider backing it and sharing it for all to see!

Risks and challenges
This is my 8th graphic novel Kickstarter campaign, and I feel confident that with a fully-finished book (ready to go the printer), the hurdles to completion will be minimal. We gave ourselves plenty of time to work with the printer and get the book to you in a timely fashion.
Of course, there are always potential pitfalls (such as machine sentience, fire-tornadoes, or time-travel paradoxes) but the very last thing we are worried about is delivering the promised rewards.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
