About this project
Dingo and his friends have gotten lost on Walkabout! Visit their dreams to lead them home! From Alf Seegert, the designer of Fantastiqa, Trollhalla, the Road to Canterbury, with colorful illustrations by Ryan Laukat, designer/illustrator of The Ancient World and Eight-Minute Empire: Legends.
Dingo's Dreams is a delightful and clever family game for 2-4 players. Each player competes to be the first to successfully guide his animal through the dream world.
Easy to learn, but challenging to master! Includes simplified rules for younger children and tougher challenges for experienced players.
You start with a grid of 25 tiles, set up at random in a 5x5 dreamscape. You also start with one extra tile, with a picture of your animal on it. On the opposite side of each of your tiles is a picture of your animal. Each turn, a random card is drawn, telling players which tile they should flip. When you flip a tile, it means your animal is travelling through a part of the dreamscape. Your goal is to guide your animal through the dreamscape by putting him in specified spaces (which are different each time you play). Each time after a card is drawn, you take your extra animal and slide him into the dreamscape, shifting one row or column of tiles until a new, different tile emerges from the opposite side. You'll use this tile to shift another column or row on your next turn. Play continues until one player's dreamscape tiles matches the goal. The player then shouts his or her animal's name-- "Dingo!", for example, to win the round.

Far away in the beautiful world of Arzium, four small nations compete to become the most powerful, rallying courageous explorers, cunning leaders, brilliant minds, and powerful magicians. The humans of the City-State of Arc value industry and growth, while their neighbors in the highlands of Cresaria seek out ancient magics and scientific advances. To the south live the toads of Om amid the verdant Emerald Hills, inventing amazing machines and gizmos to aid them. The Hog Republic to the west holds a rich military tradition and teaches ruthless strategy-- in war and in business-- to all citizens from a young age.
Which nation will emerge as the greatest, leading this new world of advancement into the next century?
Canada Shipping has its own pledge levels. Shipping costs are $10, $20, and $22.
As per Customs law, we cannot label the game as a gift for shipping.
Will this be shipped to European backers from within the EU?
International shipments will be subject to customs charges depending on the country to which you are shipping. If you ship to an address in the EU, your copy of the game will be shipped from within the EU.
(All game-related stretch goals are exclusive to Kickstarter versions of the games.)
The suggested MSRP for the standard, retail version of Dingo's Dreams will be $19.99.
The suggested MSRP for the standard, retail version of City of Iron 2nd Edition will be $54.99.
Changing Backer Levels
For this project we are unable to change or accept alterations to the backer level rewards. Backers may, however, double their number of copies by doubling their pledge amount. See below.
At any pledge level, you may double your copies if you double your basic pledge amount (for example, $84 for 2 copies of City of Iron 2nd Edition, not including shipping). You may not add more copies than this.
Adding copies does not increase your shipping cost. Your shipping cost is the same as if you were shipping one copy.
Risks and challenges
This is my tenth Kickstarter project, and with each project, I could not have printed and produced them without the support of Kickstarter backers. These games have been tested and tweaked to get the balance right. Much of the art is finished and the games are ready, but they won't see the light of day without the funds needed to see that the games are printed.
There are many other challenges to making sure this project is successful. Because of occasional unforeseen events, it is common for board game production to be delayed. I've done all I can to ensure that this games will be delivered on time if funded. Of course, delays can happen, but most of my projects have been delivered early.
Another challenge is making sure that all the files and rules are correct when sent to the printer. I've done the graphic design and artwork for many games. My experience helps me ensure a smooth pre-production process.
With your help, we can have the funds to print the games, overcome the various obstacles that are in the way, and make sure you are delivered a quality product.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
