About
This is a book written by a near-death experiencer who drowned in a white water rafting accident 40 years ago. She describes her journey to the other side of the veil and what she remembered (including that she had done this many times before) with the help of a beautiful, loving Being of Light about the transition we all get to make when we leave our physical body and return to our spiritual home and family.
She returned with a mission to assist humanity during its evolution of consciousness to realize that we don't die (only our temporary physical bodies die) because we are eternal spiritual beings having temporary human experiences on this planet to expand our consciousness. We are both Human and Divine! Therefore, we can prepare ourselves ahead of time to make it a peaceful, joy-filled experience into Unconditional Love. Death is our graduation from the University of Life on Earth and the beginning of new adventures in other dimensions of the Universe!
The practice she describes, which is non-denominational but adaptable to any belief system, includes using meditation and guided visualization to process one's life review before transition, and composing a Personal Transition Guidebook to be read by a transition guide as one prepares to exit the body as an awakened being.
We all need to have these family conversations about what we want at the end of this life before they become necessary so decisions don't have to be made during a crisis when everyone is in a state of shock and confusion. We should have them when we get our first driver's license because the next ten years are when many young people are involved in accidents. We should especially have them if we are diagnosed with any illness that requires ongoing treatments or surgery, or when we turn 65. We need to get out of denial and get over our fears. The book also contains information about Advance Healthcare Directives, organ donation, funeral planning, palliative and hospice care, and current Death With Dignity laws in the U.S.
The book is already written and available as an ebook (to read sample, click here). It is currently being formatted for print and will be (self) published in paperback as Print-On-Demand as soon as funds are available. POD means books are printed based on orders from bookstores, no need to stock inventory. Enough copies will be ordered to reward backers, and to send to reviewers and media to promote book sales. Remaining funds will go towards advertising and sales promotion, and paying the cover artist and designers for their work.

Reviews--
How to Die Consciously by Diane Goble isn't like other books about dying. It's the personal, right-here-an-now exercises, ideas, rituals, that set it apart. This wealth of "what really works" comes from her own experiences when she died and returned a near-death survivor, and from her years since serving at the deathbed in a ministry of love and forgiveness. There are so many books out now about how to help the dying, but nothing like this. Her "Personal Transition Guidebook" that she helps the dying to create becomes a precious gift-- a way for individuals to consciously prepare for what's to come, and to better understand the life in their death, and what happens next. The success of what she has helped the dying do for themselves has laid the groundwork for Transition Guides trained in her system to aid in a conscious and spiritually supportive transition. Anyone can benefit from this book, so keep it handy. You may use it more often than you think. --P.M.H. Atwater, L.H.D., researcher and author , among her books-- Near-Death Experiences: The Rest of the Story, The Big Book of Near-Death Experiences, and We Live Forever: The Real Truth About Death.

Diane Goble's book, How to Die Consciouly: Secrets from Beyond the Veil, shows us how learning to die consciously not only soothes the transition for the dying but also makes for a better grieving experience for those left behind. After reading this book, it all comes down to one truth. Love is all there is. Learning to live in love and not fear hence teaches us to die consciously; prepared mentally, emotionally and spiritually whenever our time comes. As Goble writes in conclusion, "knowing how to die consciously will awaken a new level of awareness as we realize who we truly are and remember the true meaning of life here on earth. It will allow us to experience Oneness with the Light and God-Consciousness before we even leave this body and go back home." --Josie Varga, author of Visits to Heaven and Visits from Heaven
