A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
Who and what is SASADO?
In short …
SA: SALAD (A mix of greens, fruits, sometimes meat/fish, not just for vegetarians or people on diets)
SA: SANNA (The one of two who started this project and responsible for the creative side of the eatables)
DO: DORTHE (The second of two who started this project and responsible for the quirky paperwork)
Alright … We could write you a long song and dance about our brilliant business plans and amazing budgets, but we all know that it can be difficult to plow through grand, intriguing words and numbers, so therefore we will bring you the absolute and down-to-earth story about our idea SASADO!
Let’s take a situation we all know to a default:
A: 2 carrots that looks a wee bit tired, a handful of blueberries that were not picked yesterday, ¼ of a cucumber which is about to give up and for some odd reason, there is also ½ red cabbage in the fridge.
B: The meetings took longer than expected, the weather went from bad to worse, the traffic is horrific, late in picking up the kids, your better half has just texted to proclaim that hunger status is in the rising and oh point A just popped up in your thoughts.
D: …but only for a second, because you know that with your App Sasado, you can handle tired kids, famine situations in the home and NOT throw out the oh-so-tired-looking greens and fruits.
You press the App Sasado button.
You write what you have (in this case carrots, blueberries, cucumber, red cabbage).
É voila! everything is so much easier!
Appetizing and delicious salads are showed in colorful pictures
The recipe is a picture with the ingredients and not in words

Once again voila!
The “How-To-Do”-page will appear in words

Easy and quick
...and the absolute best is that there are NO disturbing adverts!!!
Risks and challenges
The risk of our project is that even though we believe that our vision is the best idea since the invention of the wheel, is that nobody ells are onboard.
We do know that we have support after sending out questionnaires with pictures of our app design and description of functionality, but even after being confirmed that we are onto something special, it is still not safe to say that it will be possible to bring the concept to life.
The challenges of this project has been that this is a software project and neither of us have any extensive experience with programming or coding.
This we will overcome by hiring professional help that can programme and build a solid foundation for our app. In the case of not getting sufficient funding then our time schedule will slide and the app will not be available in the month of december this year. We would also have to look up other possibilities with e.g. university students that are studying within the field of technology e.g. programming etc.
The risk of our project is that even after we have done extensive research on the market both domestic and international to find our competitors and marketing practice, is that we are not professionals and that our interpretations of our findings could be faulty.
Searching for information about statistics concerning internet use, social network-/media, who-does-the-grocery-shopping etc. and working out the best marketing tools, can be an overwhelming task so to continue with a success rate in the higher percentile concerning competitors and successful advertising, we will co-operated with professionals who are experts on these respective fields.
The challenges of this project has also been a question of having good and useable technical equipment for taking pictures of our own leftovers in such a maner that they would have a tasteful and appetizing appeal and creating videos with the material that we have. We have actually worked mostly outside to get the best light for the pictures and have tried to manufacture our own light box. With sufficient funding we can obtain better technical and editing equipment.
The risk of our project is that we are left with only our idea..
The challenges of this project concerning time and expectations, are that everything takes longer than expected and we have been forced to become more realistic in this almost 1-year-long adventure.
despite the challenges we have managed so far to get our company up and running, coming up with our own name and logo, research through several internet site on statistics, investigating how to do coding and develop an app front with our own design/appearance, performing marketing through questionnaires domestically and internationally, photographing our own pictures of our homemade salads, producing our own videos, getting our website designed and online, doing marketing on the social network e.g. Facebook and Instagram and now creating this project here on this forum.
We have taken into careful consideration that time and planning is of the outmost importance, so therefore we have planned with 6 months of coding developing of the app and get it thoroughly tested, so that the product will be perfect.
