The History of Crap Hound #6!
Phew! We just passed the 50% mark -- less than $6500 to go!
We're hard at work devising a couple late additions to our rewards, more about that soon. In the meantime I thought I'd share a little history of Crap Hound #6...
Sean Tejaratchi started Crap Hound in 1994 with the Death, Telephones & Scissors issue. The current incarnation of #6 is actually the 4th edition of #1. Five years after publishing Crap Hound #1 Sean nearly tripled the page count and crammed hundreds more images in issue #6. Each edition has gone out of print within a year or so of publication, so we're back to reprint the 4th edition!
Check out the covers through the years:
1994: Crap Hound #1, cover by Mike King, 36-pages, self-published.
1999: Crap Hound #6, 2nd edition, 92-pages, cover by Martin Ontiveros, self-published.
2006: Crap Hound #6, 3rd edition, 100-pages, cover by Jordan Crane, published by Show & Tell Press.
2012: Coming soon! Crap Hound #6, 4th edition, 100-pages + 16-page supplement, cover by Sean Tejaratchi, published by Show & Tell Press.
Crap Hound #6 contains 5 copyright-free fonts:
- Astro by Michele Kline
- Regicide by Mike King
- Huffman, Lumber Boy and Vent Gleek by Sean Tejaratchi
We've got less than 50% to go and just 8 days to do it in! Please keep sharing the project and thanks for your support!
