Intonation Music Workshop Students produce a CD of Original Pop and Rock Songs! Read more
This project was successfully funded on March 23, 2012.
While we’ve got the CD production costs covered now, any excess funds pledged in the last two weeks of the campaign will help us with the cost of mastering the CD, and with transportation and supplies for the record release show on June 9th. So please continue to spread the word and share the campaign with others you think might be interested in donating!
As for the project itself, things are really coming together. Our talented graphic designer Chris Posdal is piecing together the CD booklet, the students are putting the finishing touches on their band bios, top rock photographer Jim Newberry is wrapping up the photo sessions for the cover, and the bands are hard at work rehearsing their songs for the Rock-N-Pop Circus, the upcoming student showcase taking place on March 24th at the fabulous Alhambra Palace. (We’d love to have you at the show! For more info, check out http://www.intonationmusicworkshop.org/news-events/show-calendars/)
Once again, thanks so much to everyone who has supported the campaign. Backers, stay tuned for info about all the great rewards coming your way!
Thanks SO much to all those who have already donated. With your generous support, we're just a couple hundred away from our goal!
As we approach the home stretch, our students couldn't be more excited about the project. Just today, the students from the IMW band BluTube are getting their picture taken for the cover art by professional photographer and IMW supporter Jim Newberry. We've loved watching this project progress each step of the way, and we can't wait until we can share the finished product with you!
Thanks again so much for your support. Any chance you have to spread the word and pass along the link, please do. Together, we can make it happen.
For those checking us out for the first time, you can be the ones to put us over the top and make this compilation CD a reality - every little bit helps!
As always, Rock On!
