Hack Education writes about 4see, more educators are contacting us to help and a video walkthrough of our prototype
We've a few updates and then down at the bottom we've shot a video answering the #1 question we've been getting about our game, tell us details about the gameplay.
Updates -
- Audrey Watters of Hack Education explains the educational importance of our project here.
- Andrew Miller a consultant who works with teachers all around the country on game based learning offers his resounding support for this as a necessary step towards education reform.
- Mark Chen, a Postdoctoral student at University of Washington wrote a dissertation on team building in World of Warcraft and told us "It sounds a lot like the model you guys cite from Ganz and Wageman." He's considering helping on some research of the efficacy of our project if we're funded, one aspect we've been hoping would come out of this campaign.
So now you'll not only be helping teens, but helping the future of educational research with your pledge.
Our goal is to reach 70% by Wednesday, which will give us 4 days to get the rest. We've seen several of our friends' campaigns succeed from that position. That means another 5k in 6 days, please help spread the word to make that happen and help us get to sleep at night.
And now, the video you've been asking for, a detailed walkthrough of our paper prototype.
Thank you so much for your support!
Fingers crossed,
Ala' and Nathan

Huzzah! (but just a couple of corrections: Audrey's last name is Watters, and I'm a postdoc). :)
