Expect more regular updates!

OK, so, the last couple of months have been slow for the Book of WIzards, I have been attending conventions and going on family vacations.

Production of the Book of Wizards is about to kick into high gear as I look towards wrapping this thing up in the next 3 - 4 months. So from now on I will be giving more regular updates.... after I move.... again... HAHA!

I am moving to New York State and I will be transitioning into a full-time freelancing career! Though I am very excited about this, it is also bittersweet because it means leaving Harmonix, an amazing game company that has been an absolute privilege to work for. I will miss all of the amazingly talented folks that I have gotten to work with there over the past year and I hope it is not the last time I get to work with them. The projects they are working on are truly amazing and I can't wait to see what lies in store for Harmonix in the coming years!

As part of this transition, I will also be setting aside more time to work on finishing up the book.... there are about 15 pieces left to complete, a healthy chunk of writing, and then, of course, working with my designer to get the book finalized. I expect to have all of the work wrapped up in late September or early October, the Gods willing, and then I will send it off to the printer! The good news is, since I will be doing more regular updates, you will know exactly where I am in the process so that there are no surprises.

As mentioned before, everything is being pushed back a couple of months from the original projected date of delivery, but hopefully everyone will understand that my goal is to make sure that the book is as good as it possibly can be, and that the only reason I would push it back is in order to deliver the best possible product.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know, and be sure to visit: Fishwizard Press for more updates, and be sure to enter your e-mail for automatic updates whenever there is news posted on the blog.

Please feel free to ask me any questions you have or address any concerns.

Thanks again!

Good luck on the freelancing man! I hope the move goes smoothly and isn't stressful and, can't wait to see more from the book.
