Ater is a miniature series aiming to be funded and produced with this kickstarter. My end goal with this campaign is to add a few new products to the Deadsculpt figure store (http://www.deadsculpt.com/). I surely dream for it to be not only a store, but a "brand" name of limited collectible miniatures and figures.
If this campaign will be successful, all the miniatures presented will also be available in limited quantities in the store.
Ater is not a game, it's a 54mm scale miniature line that targets collectors and enthusiasts with a taste for horror, the unusual, the surreal and the creepy... so no elves or marines will be part of this project if it were to be successful enough to allow for future growth.
The miniatures presented in this campaign are 3d sculpted and printed. The final products that you will get are blisters containing grey resin figures made of parts. Assembly, gluing and minor tooling will be required as it is normal with most miniatures and model kits.
Here are pictures and details of the miniatures in their current state, (the final products may have minor differences):
Inanis is the lord of emptiness and master of the void.
This miniature has been sculpted and printed. Test resin copies have been made and painted:
Ignava is the mistress of betrayal, cowardice and viciousness.
This miniature has been sculpted and the master has been printed:
Pavor is the keeper of fear, bringer of dread.
This miniature currently exists only in digital 3d sculpt form:
Putor is the lord of rot and decay, filthy winged merciless demon.
The stretch goal of 4,000$ has been reached! Putor is on his way!
If you already pledged for reward tiers 3,5 or 6 (or any reward that includes miniatures) and would like to get Putor as well, add 30$ to your total in your pledge manager.
Use the new 30 $ reward option if you just want Putor individually (this option has a 50 limit)
Here are the concept and 3d renders for Putor:
New stretch goal is unlocked!
Lasciva, the temptress, will be turned into resin!
Lasciva is not available as a single pledge, you can only get this miniature by adding 20$ to any of the miniature pledges (so the sketchbook pledge doesn't count).
This miniature currently exists as a concept and digital sculpt:
Ater uses 54mm scale, the shortest miniature is Pavor at 55mm and tallest is Putor at 105mm.
Shipping is set with a flat shipping rate, this means that ordering more than one item is a bit more convenient (in the unlikely case of large orders please ask).
If you live in a country not in this list:

Risks and challenges
As with any campaign, falling short of the goal is the number 1 risk. Number 2 is delays in shipping that tend to be pretty common, that's why the delivery date given is to be seen as an estimate.
"Ater" being a small limited production, plastic is not an option, resin is the material that will be used.
The downside of resin miniatures is that they tend to be more expensive, on the upside though, they hold better detail. This factor and the 54mm scale (and the designs of course) i hope will be an incentive for collectors and painters alike.
Ater definitely has quality and design in mind.
