Update #12 : Field tests has began

Posted by Rost (Creator)

Hello guys! I know that i have huge delays ;( But work is in progress and each day Lumens are closer to You. This flashlight is a complex electronic device and to make it really reliable and stable I need to perform a set of everyday tests.

About 1 hundred of Lumens are ready except three things:

1. Rubber on the bottom.

2. Finger print on surface

 3. Anodizing

For rubber I've ordered a mould that would be ready during 1-1,5 month (with shipping from China. Unfortunately local suppliers didn't want to take such small order).

And finally - picture of assembled Lumens that would be tested by me and other people.

In next update I'll record a video where I'll show you how final version of Lumen works.

p.s. Sorry for disappointing news about timelines.

Its so nice to see such cooperation between backer and creator. Keep up the positivity peeps! Yeap, I'm waiting too but like others I'd rather have a great product than some crap at the end of the day.

That looks really good. Better a well tested item than a rushed item to keep pushing backers happy!

Based on other projects I've backed I'd rather this was late and worked, not rushed, to then fall apart after a few weeks of use. Take your time
