Here is the backstory:
The Tooth in the Booth This idea all started while visiting my eldest niece, during the holidays. Much like most children, she always needed to be reminded to brush her teeth. When my sister sent her off to the bathroom to brush before bedtime, she quickly returned letting everyone know she was “ALL DONE!”
But was she really??
She was gone for barely a minute, and even if she did brush it was way too quick to be effective. My sister asked her to come closer for the breath test. There was no hint of minty flavored toothpaste.
Conclusion….She “phantom brushed.”
Apparently, she had been phantom brushing for awhile. Her parents could not always be there to physically watch her brush and floss.
My sister reminded my niece Santa would not be happy to hear that she was not taking good care of her teeth. That warning worked. as my niece quickly retreated and ran back upstairs to properly brush and floss before bedtime.
Five-year-olds know that Santa Claus sees you when you are sleeping and knows when you’re awake….And parents have seen first hand how the beloved scout elf can inspire even the most resistant tots to pick up that brush.
But what would motivate my niece to brush and floss after the holidays?
That’s where The Tooth in the Booth comes in. Tiny, a once-grimy baby tooth who has been cleaned up and specially commissioned by the Tooth Fairy herself, is a plush doll who suction cups to your bathroom mirror. His presence will remind your children to always brush and floss because Tiny is watching.
He is “The Tooth in the Booth.”
His story, told in an accompanying hardcover book, will captivate your child and help instill life-long dental hygiene habits.
But Tiny doesn’t just watch to make sure your child is brushing.
He comes with his magic Tooth Booth, where your child can place their lost tooth for the Tooth Fairy to find and leave a surprise. Your child will know the Tooth Fairy takes a close look at each baby tooth, and they will want to make sure each one is extra clean!
An included Tooth Chart allows your child to log whenever he or she loses a tooth so they can chart their progress as they lose baby teeth.
Our product includes the hardcover book introducing you to Tiny the Tooth, your very own Tiny the Tooth doll, the Tooth Chart and the magic Tooth Booth. This product appeals to child everywhere and can be made into any language in order to spread its great message across the globe.
And, as Dental Health Month approaches, remember these closing words from Tiny himself:
“Neglecting your teeth should not happen. Never! Take care of them now and they’ll last you forever!”

Risks and challenges
So far we have timed everything to launch during the National Children's Dental Health Month. We took a risk and continue to take risks by waiting to promote this after the holidays. There are other children book/toy combos on the market that are focused on the holiday season, but our passion was to help promote pediatric dental hygiene throughout the year.
Our team is a combination of award-winning artists and entrepreneurs. We our confident with your help and support that we can make The Tooth in the Booth a household name for children all across the globe.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
